05/7/2022 21:05 | Bigdog - "Are you suckers still in denial about the massive problems they're having increasing production?" The only "massive problem" that I can see Sarah is your complete inability to understand what's been going on over the years. They've never had problems increasing production before so what makes you think they're having problems now. The field went into production in July 2013 and less than 2 years later in June 2015 they'd shot up from zero to 44.6kbpd. Then the money problems really set in and they had to stop spending which resulted in no maintenance on the wells and the inevitable drop in well performance over the next 3 years until June 2018 when production had declined to 31.5kbpd. Then when they started spending again in June 2018 it took them only 3 years of work (if you strip out the 15 months lost to covid) to get back to the current 45.9kbpd with at least 9kbpd waiting to come back on line from Sh-12 and workovers probably by the end of the year which will take us to at least 55kbpd. The only problem in all of that Sarah apart from the normal run of the mill issues that you expect when developing an oilfield has been money, and now we've got plenty of it. So all we need now is the FDP approved and it's onward and upward to 100kbpd. So all looking good. | habshan | |
05/7/2022 19:48 | Down over 25% from a few weeks ago. Rather expensive for those that said £3.20 was cheap? And where will the share price be when the OP retraces to $80/$90pb, £1.75? Could it retrace there after the next divi? No oil law, 55k a day, FDP, companies exiting and all the uncertainty and accusations as bad as they've always been between Erbil and Baghdad. Not a great advert is it:-) | bigdog5 |
