It's not just divis, GC. Why pick on GKP to be squeezed? It's got loadsamoney. Why appoint an m&a expert? Why the drive down from 320 to 230? Why, why, why?

OAP the NED'S know very well as it was raised to them way back,that because any sale could not be publicised ,even after the company entered a sales implementation agreement, possibly 3/4 years back.any announcement can only occur when it's a DONE deal.Completion by short form amalgamation RNS.Insider's would be aware.So I agree the announcement this month highly likely, and 2 divs so close together ( the second normally be paid after HY results) to at least try to keep LTH in to end.Hoping it's announced next Thursday ex div day .the massive effort to force stock out both on book and blogs in past month unsurprising.

It does seem a bit odd to give out two dividends in July when they could have been spread out a bit more....

It's beginning to look as though the timing of these two current divis was not at random. I think co sale has been timed for sometime in July.
