Yes, they blunted the downside risk yesterday by revealing they had just received 2/3 of the dividend payment they're going to make in 2 weeks time. Quite clever imo.

This is a much stronger performance this morning than I envisaged.
Dare I say it "There may be something in the pipeline"

Yep. You needed to be in the magic circle to be able to sell out yesterday and buy back cheaper today. Only those chosen ones would have been able to access the reported low of 221p.

Sure is. You'd have to be extremely lucky to have sold at yesterday's high and bought back at today's low. Not worth the hassle for a few pence

Yep ex div today, 23.778p per share payable on 13th May. So anything less than a similar drop today is actually a gain !

Re yesterday's trading, yes there were sellers hoping to get back in on the drop today but equally there was a big demand for those shares from eager buyers. The share price stayed firm. Today will be interesting with lots of games being played. I toyed with the idea of temporarily selling a few but decided to stay put on the rising trend. I certainly wouldn't want to be out over this long weekend whilst the politics are beginning to look favourable.
