The rising trend line from March 21 has resistance at about 276 which was resistance back in Aug and Sept 2016

Market cap £535m. £400m plus cash coming in at current production levels in the next year. Seems to me that shed loads of oil are almost in the price for free.

unloved by the market for good reason or a steal at these prices?. Also much talk of a takeover that looks an obvious bet but somehow never happens. An oil and gas law that nearly comes to the boil every few years but again never crosses the line.

A push above £3 would be a start but the move north has been a grind higher so far.

A stonking dividend regularly hitting my bank account while I continue the never ending wait for some material share price action.

The Kurdistan Govt are absolutely coining it atm from oil sales. That's why they are paying faster and clearing the arrears! GKP is turning into quite the cash machine!

I was considering that OAP as last time it dropped considerably after Ex Divi day and HSBC, with who I hold my ISA with takes nearly two weeks to pay Divi, when the price usually recovers. However, I’ve gone with the sure thing as who knows with this share, particularly with the Final Divi due. Either way, I’m happy 👍👌

It looks to me as though there has been quite a bit of selling over the day from folk who are perhaps expecting a bigger drop tomorrow than 24p. Then they'd hope to buy back cheaper than getting the divi and holding the share. I'm not sure that will work with such a big payment. Tomorrow will show.

Ha ha ha, Blgdog5, I would say the real doggie would say, that oil price will collapse to $20, output will dry up and the dollar will go to $2 = £1 🤷‍a94;️🤦‍♂ᥧ9;🤣

Looking at today’s payment and working on Habshan figures (652556) and assuming the same output, then the net income for Jan 22 to Apr 22 would be as follows:

Jan $41.7m declared
Feb $46.7 (inc. total outstanding of $8.4)
Mar $46.2
Apr $41.3

Total $175.9 (£140 on todays exchange rate)

Total for the year $527.7 (£419.9)

I would imagine the output WILL increase over the next few months and who knows about the oil price but the general consensus is that it will be as it is now or higher. So I will stick my head out and predict a further dividend 🤔😳😉🤣

Its crazy to think that Junes monthly GKP oil payment alone, is likely to be bigger than the $65M Total Dividend it pays out tomorrow 💪
