Effectively, with yesterday's payment, they are only paying out about 9p per share so if the share price drops by that amount it will be about right.

GKP is the easiest hold on the LSE these days.

Crazy cheap share price and massive divi's are a rare combination.

Yes, they blunted the downside risk yesterday by revealing they had just received 2/3 of the dividend payment they're going to make in 2 weeks time. Quite clever imo.

Yep. You needed to be in the magic circle to be able to sell out yesterday and buy back cheaper today. Only those chosen ones would have been able to access the reported low of 221p.
