28/3/2021 11:34 | No way they are ever going to haul that thing out of the sand unless they get lucky. So they will have to unload and store possibly ~ 2000 containers. Then put them all back in their original positions. Because these container ships are all loaded /unloaded by a computer generated sequence. So it looks like the OP is headed North. 28/3/2021 11:08 | Suez tanker still stuck but some movement has been made. They’re waiting for high tide Sunday to try again. End of a long article on it. What is the back-up plan? If digging the sand away and pulling the ship with tugs fails to move it, Mr Rabie said rescue teams might have to remove some containers. John Denholm, president of the UK Chamber of Shipping, earlier told the BBC that transferring the cargo to another vessel or the canal bank would involve bringing in specialist equipment, including a crane that would need to stretch more than 60m (200ft) high. The company needed to address short-term liquidity problems first," the source said.+++++++ | bluehorseshoe_loves_gkp

27/3/2021 22:04 | Don’t think so. They need to ramp up prod as quickly as possible bc Kurds need to transfer revenues to ICG. After the restructuring, PI had 15%. Now probably 5%. And some PI will sell too early. Paying a little more to the PI is not worth the loss of revenues. If law passed, wud be interesting to see if they make a bond issue following the Pareto presentation. | bravedog
