Gulf didn't stop until after that.

How much did they miss or get wrong ???

They were made to prioritise a gas reinjection well (SH9) so the work program went out the window along with the pumps but that's another story.

I've just had a look at that presentation Tony and you're right.

They forgot to include an 18 month stoppage for a world wide pandemic starting a year later.

Well I didn't think they had blown it up before they left.

I know EXACTLY what condition the rig is in and how it's been stored.

Remember I have pictures and regular updates where as you just guess.

It's been STACKED Tony.

That means it's been DISMANTLED.

Before it restarts drilling it will be re-assembled and re-commissioned.

The same as any rig before it starts work.

You just haven't a clue have you.

Oil prices shoot up after mega container ship blocks Suez Canal.

Oil prices soared higher this afternoon after one of the world’s largest container ships ran aground in the Suez Canal, blocking the major trade artery.

While equity markets were largely quiet earlier today, global energy trading went into a frenzy as fears the blockage could disrupt shipment for days sparked speculation that oil supply could be put under pressure.


The price of Brent crude oil increased by 5.77 per cent to $64.3 per barrel.

Edward Moya, senior market analyst at OANDA, commented this evening that “energy traders were trying to get a quick assessment on how long will a massive container ship block one of the world’s busiest waterways.”
