I think that Hof Hoorneman, UBS, Blackrock, Gertjan Koomen and all the others who bought their shares at prices above 50p, who own most of the company, who would have needed to approve any deal and who have seen their shares triple in value since 50p would have something to say about that and would think the same as I do Sarah.

Absolutely, why bid ludicrous numbers when the company could have been taken at 50p (0.5p).

Absolutely no need to offer ludicrous numbers because the reserves are falling by the hour, there's been a huge downgrade to the Jurassic, the only zone they drill to.

The Kon zel barrels were and are fantasy that allowed for him and his mates to pay themselves ludicrous salaries and bonuses.

Eleven years on, 13 wells, four CPR's and only just back to numbers above what they were producing five years ago and an share price of 1.6p tells its own story.

Remember, its not what they say with all the hype, spin, fanciful predictions and plans which all fail, its what they don't mention. Big up any positives but sweep the real problems under the rug innit:-):-)

New owners will be delivering the full FDP so we shareholders dont need to worry.Just wait for the inevitable sale , and in the meantime take any dividends or buybacks that precede it.GKP clearly have no intention of full -scale development, and never have had.

Gulf Keystone Petroleum discovered the field, one of the largest in Kurdistan with oil-in-place estimated at 4.2 billion barrels. The field contains heavy oil in fractured Jurassic carbonates and lighter oil in fractured Triassic carbonates. Most of the oil is currently produced from the Upper Jurassic reservoir. Shaikan's Field Development Plan is split into three phases and targets 85,000 b/d production by 2025.

The question was, in what way are you qualified to have an opinion such that highly experienced and qualified oilmen ask you for it, and the answer is that as I say "you are no more qualified than the girl on the till at Tesco."

Every time you say that those people seek your opinion on oilfield development merely cements your status as the board buffoon doesn't it Tony.

The fact is that you aren't qualified to have an opinion are you, all you're doing is deluding yourself, nobody else.

Every time you express what you call "your opinion" isn't "your opinion" at all is it.

All you're doing is parroting the opinion of somebody else, and the question is WHO.

Do you remember saying this only a few days ago:-

"What I am saying is that it is the opinion of some that the OWC is higher than what's being reported."

So your assertion that experienced oilmen seek "your opinion" is a lie isn't it because you haven't got one.

Every time you say that "in my opinion" either here or anywhere else is a lie as well, because it's not your opinion at all but "the opinion of some".

So for the absence of doubt Tony we'll just clarify shall we that an ex refurbisher of old Land Rover parts is not somebody that experienced oilmen would consult for his "opinion" and that any opinions that you DO express are not yours but the opinions "of some".

Whoever "some" is.
