It is extraordinary Flying how much effort is being put into ensuring nobody ( on blogs) believes the company is worth a fortune.....
However on an EV/2p basis , and with $2.5 opex, and given average done deal metric is around $14/boe then north of £30/ share is very viable.
Indeed the last major deal - Anardako - was valued TWICE as high as this.......................

Moscow oil sector investments in Iraqi projects exceed $10 Billions
Russia cooperation with Iraq in the oil sector is “very active” in spite of sanctions and restrictions and the impact of the global pandemic, according to Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak.

Novak, a former energy minister of Russia Federation, met on Wednesday March 3 with Iraqi Oil Minister Ihsan Abdul Jabbar to discuss the prospects of the two new oil and gas projects, as well as the situation on the global oil market.

“Our interaction is very active, despite the current restrictions and the impact of the coronavirus pandemic,” Novak said.

“Our companies are actively implementing a number of successful projects on the territory of the republic. To date, the accumulated investments of Russian oil and gas companies in Iraqi projects have exceeded $10 billion,” he added.

According to Russian First Deputy Chair of the Federation Council Committee on Economic Policy, Yury Fedorov, the energy companies plan to spend up to $20 billion on oil projects in Iraq.

Since 2019, the two countries resumed cooperation in energy infrastructure, and in the electricity sector.

Iraq’s proven oil reserves stand at over 145 billion barrels, while gas reserves exceed 3.7 trillion cubic meters

Highlander - Take a look at PRD instead. A much better TCF scale gas play in Morocco vs Char. Char cash position seems weak and will need c.$30mn+ to drill an appraisal well vs PRD which can do for $2.5mn as it's onshore while Char is offshore.Interestingly, GRH, who seems to have called GKP correctly back in 2011, is also in PRD in size, from his posts on Twitter.All IMO dyor

The value of GKP will depend on a number of parameters. Forget the bean counting.

(1) Confirmation of Current production and reservoir data as currently known (due
diligence)

(2) Size of potential future reserves

(3) Which in turn is determined by the assessment of independent Reservoir Engineers
and Monte Carlo Modelling ( probability modelling) of what could be there. This
is expressed as P10 ,P50 AND P90 where P = probability.

I imagine the modelling will be done by outside consultants using information supplied by GKP and vetted by any potential buyer.

The Company will also announce to the market, in the usual way once payment has been received for January crude oil sales.
