Trump: Biden’s Policies To Bring ‘Energy Disaster’ To The U.S.

In his first public speech since leaving office in January, former President Donald Trump slammed President Joe Biden’s energy policies and said they would bring an “energy disaster” to America.

The pro-oil former president touted throughout his term in office America’s energy independence, supported the oil industry, and issued a Presidential Permit to the U.S.-Canada Keystone XL oil pipeline. Trump also actively engaged with OPEC and the OPEC+ group to influence their decisions, including by tweets and phone calls to the leaders of Saudi Arabia and Russia.

President Biden, however, placed green energy as a priority for his Administration, rescinded the Presidential Permit for Keystone XL on his first day in office, and paused all oil and gas permitting on federal lands and waters, and canceled lease sales.

During his speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Florida on Sunday, Trump said:


“The Biden policies are a massive win for other oil producing countries and a massive loss for the United States and our great citizens.”

Trump also criticized President Biden’s move to rejoin the Paris Climate Accord.

The U.S. became the world’s top crude oil producer, Trump said, (and America still is the world’s top oil producer).

“Bigger than Saudi Arabia, bigger than Russia by a lot. We left them all in the dust. They were all in the dust. But if the Democrats have their way, we are heading from energy dominance to energy disaster,” Trump said.

LSEWell, they making so much cash , without even trying , in fact deliberately not trying!!( 20m capex planned for 2021, is tiny , ) then the way forward points to a sale of Shaikan or the company as a strong possibilities.DNO/GNL are forecasting significant capex in contrast.These reserves are enormous.Got to be of interest to bigger players.Lets see how things go.

Correct HThe signs have been around for years that something is up. We have been given numerous clues by GKP IF you know how to read them.It can take 2-3 years (at least ) to negotiate a deal for something the size of Shaikan. Probably longer if there are more than one potential bidder.I explained all this on LSE last year and gave a typical project schedule and timeline for the activities.It is still there.GL to all genuines.

You couldn't be more wrong. If you looked at and understood some of the largest City organised takeovers you would understand that. There have been some massive City takeovers and they have taken weeks which involved assets all over the planet. Not one field in one country and one producing zone which now has serious issues.

Stick to conning posters with your usual BS because you really are out of your depth as regards the City, finance, takeovers, due diligence and how it all fits together.

Hey Mr Ex of the Industry, when is the fabled, much hyped and years overdue 55k a day going to arrive?

How many new wells will be required?

Do you think they will be brave enough to install ESP's?

Are you overseeing the rehiring of staff? Will you be insisting that they have their own snorkels, flippers and wetsuits?

First posted 6 years ago and gets re posted every time h7 feels he has to say something in order to whip up more pointless enthusiasm about a non existent takeover.

I wonder how long it will be before he reaches the conclusion that his "legend" was a BS err. He may of already come to that conclusion but he needs to try to save face and con others in the hope of clawing back a very small amount of his losses brought about by needing £20ps to breakeven.
