New owners will be delivering the full FDP so we shareholders dont need to worry.Just wait for the inevitable sale , and in the meantime take any dividends or buybacks that precede it.GKP clearly have no intention of full -scale development, and never have had.

I agree , but they dont have either the resources or skillset, to manage a project of this size in any case.

All about those blobs sarah?

Has anyone ever explained to you sarah that whilst the blobs are good they in no way tell the whole story?

Then of course it has to be recognized the links between the various players.

More proof coming in the coming weeks:-)

A Muttley mull? Whatever next? A least you put a smiley face on it. Keep the humour coming. It's good for the soul in these dark times. :-)

Not always. It depends who the FDP was written for and who was involved in compiling it. However I agree you can have multiple FDP's for the same field and all of them can be different.

FDPs are constrained by the financial resources of a company. GKP's FDP of the Shaikan Field would be, for example, completely different to that, say, of a Major.

From LSE The full scale field development is obviously a project for a Major/consortium, not GKP.Thankfully GKP have Jaap as Chairman ( probably effective CEO) who Project directed Sakhalin development for Gazprom and Shell, that was and is a 400k/day mixed oil and gas project.Thats no doubt why he was selected for his role at GKPPresumably as a project company - the baton will shortly be passed .

Good try Doggie. I have worked for Jaap in a past life. He is an interesting guy.
Have a google at what IMO means . Then let me know.

One thing I do know. Any sale negotiations will be seriously classified on a need to know basis. Which excludes trolls , the "City" and of course PI's .

LOL

Have you been sneaking a few into your back pocket, Mutters? All of a sudden you don't seem quite so bitter. Anyway, nice to see a slight flicker of a grin.

But highlander7 that's a fascinating theory but its no more than what you morons have ramped up when anyone new has joined the company over the past eleven years. You've all salivated over their respective CV's and put 2 and 2 together and reached 22 instead of 4 and what you all state they've "been brought in to do". It was no different to when Murray and JF joined.

We've had people join that in their past have been involved in mergers, one of which you clowns had zero idea of what they had done previously until I pointed it out. I can remember the Stockport multi avatar moron getting excited when the legal woman showed up which I also posted she would be quality all because I am familiar with her previous employer.

Now, if you have any evidence to support your theory then post it up.

Sbb I saw your response to my question yesterday but I was hoping h7 would make a prediction. But its not his thing as he doesn't like to be "put on the spot" due to getting naff all correct in 11 years but thanks for playing:-)

Jaap is a Shell Trained Project Manager/Director well experienced in managing multi $billion O&G projects. My view has always been that he was brought in by the new owners to begin high level project planning , working with the Kurds. ( check my past posts on LSE).

Early planning would involve site selection / Civil Engineering Planning and ordering of long delivery (lead) times of Process vessels , specialised valves and piping. Some of which had a delivery schedule of ~ 18 months.

A high flyer like Jaap joined GKP because OF WHERE IT IS GOING. As some of us who do know what we are talking about , realised a long time ago.

IMO
