03/7/2020 13:29 | Genel's attributable 2P Reserves are 123.8 million barrels. GKP have very substantially more. I doubt that the major shareholders would ever approve a deal which ignored the GKP assets lol | 0ili0
03/7/2020 13:28 | I think you should read again what Mac has said about PF2 and consider the wells that supply it before keep banging on about the footprint. How are they doing production wise when you add up the barrels? | ![]() bigdog5
03/7/2020 13:19 | #GKPMorgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan etc etc have held this to floor pre takeover to accumulate their now enormous positions. But as announcement, possibly competitive bids near, you can't hold it down indefinitely. https://t.co/USeuCYK | ![]() thicktony

03/7/2020 13:17 | "OD yes I have read them , but it was a while ago , and they have access to a lot more downhole and production data now. So there should be changes". Mr "use to be in the Industry but still manages to get nothing correct" they do indeed have a great more info (and that's the problem) but what you fail to understand is that with all the issues with the field and the problems getting the oil out those numbers which have been falling due to production albeit paltry could easily be reduced. Just like Genel had to do a couple of times when they realised what was really going on. All about the structure and them thinking they understand but clearly they don't. Happy to help. | ![]() bigdog5

03/7/2020 13:11 | The test tube washer doesn't understand anything so too expect her to understand that CPR number 3 is tied into the FDP is way beyond her. Mol as I recall did announce some figures around 18/24 months ago that had Paul and his avatars all excited but they're of zero consequence here. "First-rate management with a proven track-record (the most important factor for us)". Well that's a massive fail then based on the history of missed and failed hyped up targets and plans. "Good quality assets with a production bias". Asset singular, has huge problems, production has fallen away to less than 5 years ago despite hundred's of millions being spent. None of the BS numbers that were announced to allow for huge troughing by Kozel and his mates have been discovered or proved. Gas flaring problems have seen the FDP kicked out by the hosts and now there's been put forward a new solution to the problem that revenue with a low oil price isn't going to cover. Only one ESP has been installed to date clear evidence that they won't be the solution. As I've said before it appears they will have to drill countless more wells which will be extremely expensive and getting them in the correct place judging by recent events even that seems beyond the "experts". As for a strong balance sheet whilst it looks fairly healthy currently there is the debt of $100m to consider, a low oil price set to continue for a long time and zero progress with new wells which won't be "up and running" for ages. That's why so many staff have been "let go" and I doubt many of them will be able to re-employed fast. Survival mode and it looks odds on that the company will not be able to remain independent for long. A merger looks the best you can hope for but all the signs are it will be for a pittance. Aimho of course but I do have an extremely high success rate with my views and predictions. And I'll add "innit" just for nestofBS as it confuses him. But that's not at all difficult. Only 2 real, valid and official CPR's sarah. As for the "footprint" oh dear. Remember me saying the field has shrunk? You're welcome. | ![]() bigdog5
03/7/2020 13:02 | OD yes I have read them , but it was a while ago , and they have access to a lot more downhole and production data now. So there should be changes. But if I remember correctly the reason for ERCE CPR was for the change of listing. Happy to be corrected. | ![]() highlander7
03/7/2020 12:58 | Genel might go for 1 Gen share for every 2 or 3 GkP shares held in a all share deal? Cannot see anyone stumping up real cash right now officially - KRG envelopes aside. I expect the $500m back costs will vanish .... No doubt the rampers will say their shares in the new company are worth £400 each now and the new entity GENK (ha) will be bought out imminently so the nutters have can at least keep spinning the same lie for another 10yrs On here | ![]() antondec
03/7/2020 11:33 | H7 have you read GKP CPRs? The reserves in current CPR are determined as what is likely to be extracted in during the PSC. So you need new FDP to get significant change in the CPR. | ![]() officerdigby

03/7/2020 11:00 | 6. What is the most common way in which acquisitions are effected in Bermuda? The most common way in which acquisitions are effected in Bermuda is by way of amalgamation and particularly through a triangular structure. This type of transaction typically involves the buyer establishing a subsidiary company in Bermuda (Acquisition Vehicle) which amalgamates with the company to be acquired (Target Company). The two companies then continue as one amalgamated company, in the form of the Acquisition Vehicle. | urals
03/7/2020 10:43 | True, but without an agreed FDP the economics and NPV calcs etc for medium term can't be defined, as you can't factor the investment costs IN. Anyway imo there won't be one HOWEVER as part of the sale by amalgamation, the company will issue:The directors of BidCo and Target will submit the Implementation Agreement to their respective shareholders for approvalat a special general meeting ("SGM"). The notice of SGM will include the following: a STATEMENT of the FAIR VALUE of the shares, as determined by the amalgamating companies;Clearly that = $/boe... | urals
03/7/2020 10:27 | The way I have always seen it is that the FDP is a long term Project Plan for Production and the CPR is how much oil may be recovered. Expressed as a probability. P90/P50 and P10 ...more or less. | ![]() highlander7
03/7/2020 09:43 | Jealousy David 🤡 The GoatCam membership grows regularly. I can't say daily because there just isn't the interest in GKP anymore. As for the Genel GKP tie up lol Cashti has always dreamed of this but Genel have always refused on the grounds that GKP is valued far to high for what it is ! Real world and having access to the real data and not blog data. As for the CPR I just hope they have a bottle of Tipex in the office. Wake up call coming and not in a good way. Got to clean one of the boats today 😃 GoatCam, miles better than Roberts News Service and about 8 years ahead. | ![]() mcfly02
03/7/2020 09:37 | H7Without full FDP, detailing development and costings, a new CPR can't be produced, certainly not the valuation elements.Revision of existing CPR yes, but that's incremental and relative to the near term production growth. | urals
