Mill, I'll tell my friend he will be sick as a pig. Sounds like you have got a very good deal on a beautiful car. Just need the lockdown to end and some form of normality to return, whatever that means these days? One of the guys said today there was a chance of it being extended, I hope not, this has been pushing people to the limit.Looks like Alan's purchase helped the price at least it's blue and not red.Zoo

Zoo. Funnily enough I’ve got the 3.0 tai Black Edition but with the ‘sound and comfort pack’ optional extra which is excellent including bang and olufsen 17 speaker stereo and incredible cameras even a ‘birds eye view’ of the entire car and surrounding footage. This took the list price to £81k. I waited till yesterday to ensure it was. 2021 registration. I know no one ever pays list price but I only paid £47,495 plus road tax. I had a 2016 A8 long wheelbase for past 4 years which is the longest I have had any car by a long way, including BMW 7 and 5 series, Merc CLS and a Jag. Tell you friend to take one for a test drive - the build quality and interior is fantastic, double glazed windows and lots of toys, quiet as a church mouse and 0-60 in 5.9 seconds. I asked a friend who runs a garage and also the mechanic at the local Kwikfit fit mot centre and they both independently believe that Audi is now the best overall German car maker !,

Letter? I can't be bothered to talk to the brick wall, so why would I throw paper at it? The board know very well what they need to do, and they are avoiding it with buy backs as a substitute and excuse.

Zoo, who thinks he knows everything but in reality the square root of nothing assumes we have no shares worth speaking off in GFM. As far as I am concerned he is stone cold wrong. He knows nothing whatsoever about my circumstancesand is so typical of his disingenuous unfounded remarks.

No just question why it keeps being brought up when there isn't one on the table. Smells like desperation by some for a dividend that is not on the table why is that?So no letter then Rose. Didn't think so. :-))

I believe that the word "dividend" has now appeared in more posts by zoo than any other person in the current exchange. Such is the depth of his disinterest.

Alan, I doubt they have many shares between them if any. I fail to understand why they keep banging on about a dividend. If its so important to them why would they not ask the company for an explanation rather than whine on every week about it.From 50p we've had a 238 percent lift up to 169p ish and still they are not happy. Time to put the morons on ignore methinks. Zoo

Nice to see a 2.5% uplift into positive territory from the intraday low, let’s hope it holds. There is no doubt that dependent on a complex mix of circumstances dividends and/or buybacks have a role in good company management. Not sure how many on here know the full history but at one stage in the darker times there were over 220 million shares and a spell of effective buy backs and cancellation took us down to just over 170 million which in anybody’s calculation increased share value by about 20%ish. I was praising the BOD at that time. In my experience dividends can also be a positive but it all depends on individual investment strategy so there is no single right or wrong in any of the silly ‘banter’ on these points. I am 100% with Sageman that we should try to keep this board civil, primarily about Griffin and directly related issues but also with some light hearted off topic points to lighten what we must all consider now to be a very boring existence when fully complying with the legal lockdown provisions. For my part the highlight of the past 12 months was picking up my brand new Audi A8 yesterday, only topped by the time I spend in the support bubble with my two grandsons 4 and 2. I hope that each and every one of you can also raise a smile at a few of your own ‘highlights217; which help to keep us sane. Keep safe and well and don’t let this awful period in our lives get you down. Tomorrow will be a better day as we were often reminded by one ray of light in these dark days May he RIP

Whinging is a bit rich coming from you Alan. You can filter me to your hearts content, you don’t seem to realize the only one affected is you! You also don’t understand that is is meant to be discussion board where opinions can be aired and contrary views to those of that fool Zoo can be made rather than your sycophantic nonsense.

“ I clearly like Rose’s posts about the vaccines and Trump” What utter balderdash you have no idea what you are talking about and as usual you respond in a nasty way. Is it impossible for you to accept someone else’s point of view? I suspect so and you come over as a very bigoted, conceited man. Waiting for your super intelligent reply which will of course have ro reference to my previous post.
