15/3/2021 20:00 | We reached £1.60 peak long before the issue of TWO additional licences and a MAJOR updated JORC both of which now facilitate a staged increase in production upmto 1.5 million tonnes of zinc, gold and silver with a clear potential of furtherreserve updates. As such barring a major mining accident ( the have an exemplary safety record) the only remaining key driver is commodity prices. Many analysts still believe we are entering a medium term super cycle but let's keep our feet in the ground and think forward based on current commodity prices. We know that substantially all fixed costs are in place and as such the aisc of all outputs should reduce which means more profit directly to the bottom line. The July H1 figures will give everyone interested a clear indication of ongoing fair value which given the above in anyone's book has got to be IMHO somewhere either side of £2.50 even with a below peer P/E due to operating in China. Counter views or calculations very welcome. | millwallfan
15/3/2021 18:49 | Just building a new base from here. It has bagged in less than two months. Actually quite surprised it hasn't retraced more, given the weakness in the mining index. | katsy
15/3/2021 17:13 | Only one buyer in town at the moment It would be great to have some excellent Q1 production numbers | phillis
15/3/2021 16:14 | What a really pleasant change in the tenor of the BB at present, lots of posts on a wide variety of subjects with disagreements cheerfully accepted- long may it continue. One final word re the possible take over. When the price was in the 30s or so our two large holders took the opportunity to increase their stakes fairly substantially rather than bid. What lies behind it all I don’t know. | gailes5
15/3/2021 14:21 | Nar Alan, if they do I'll start on about the D word verses the BB. :-)Only joking guys! I think both views have been beaten to death. Zoo | zooman
15/3/2021 14:19 | ARP, I know none taken. Just banter on who outside of Griffin could take us forward as we wait for the round of updates. We could have Nicola as has been suggested and Alex as well. There would be little work done but the infighting would be something else. :-) Zoo | zooman
15/3/2021 14:11 | zoo, I feel we may have two more posters soon they are now sharpening there claws, ha ha ha , | alangriffbang
15/3/2021 13:43 | Z - No offence intended, it's just that you're not shy in expressing your views. | arphillips
15/3/2021 13:42 | THE, give it to Rose he can spend his day cutting and pasting. Phillis you would have dueling pistols over the boardroom table which could be fun. :-))Zoo | zooman
15/3/2021 13:34 | ARP, I think not! I was with Maggie to break them. My personal view is that unions got far too big for their boots nor am I a Labour supporter. Never have been never will be. :-))Zoo | zooman
15/3/2021 12:41 | If we’re running the gaff then We want ‘everybody working down them there mines digging out the zinc and gold’. Unfortunately the company rules are that you have to work starkers to stop you hiding gold nuggets and hav3 to go through a metal detector on the way out. Who said I started life out as an auditor ??? | millwallfan
15/3/2021 12:34 | Yes I can hear him now "everybody out!!" Or words to that effect. possibly a little more flowery | theapiarist
15/3/2021 12:29 | TA - I think Zoo is more suited to being the Union Rep. | arphillips
15/3/2021 12:28 | A - I'm flattered by your suggestion but was just a local Sunday league player many moons ago. I think they could bring back Harry, he's always looking for quick earner. | arphillips
15/3/2021 12:24 | MWF. No thanks I'm not a people person. I rather had in mind Zoo for that role but you have already promoted him. Alternatively either Rose or Phillis would be ideal. | theapiarist
15/3/2021 12:22 | Oh dear our recruitment drive is not going very well, we’ve all obviously either enjoying retirement too much or got too much money or, in some cases, both 😂 | millwallfan
15/3/2021 12:19 | Mill, I'll duck that one thanks. When I retired I was so pleased to see the back of the politics etc, been there seen it and got the Tshirt. Then to add shareholders into the mix. No thank you. Zoo | zooman
15/3/2021 12:12 | Hi everybody you have been having fun, there is one job going , Portsmouth manager ,they have sacked Kenny jacket, how about you ARP you’ve got time on your hands, I see GFM is up a bit but little else, it was much colder outside than I first thought , good luck, | alangriffbang
15/3/2021 12:00 | TheA. Now now let’s not get others started on Scottish politics. I know from my many years experience as number 2 and being the statutory Monitoring Officer at a very large Council the trials and tribulations of having to deal with politicians virtually on a daily basis. If you want the HR job send me your CV and I will put a good word in for you when I give the boss his coffee and extra favourite biscuits ! | millwallfan
15/3/2021 11:45 | MWF. What about the the HR department? Surely we have several potential candidates. PS Lets hope your next putt isn't a Nicola (nasty little five footer). | theapiarist
15/3/2021 11:27 | CEO. ZOO CFO. SAGEMAN PR. ALAN GENERAL DOGSBODY, CLEANER, TEABOY ME - I’ve more than had my fill of all 3 above roles thanks so the only thing I want taxing my brain now is how to read the next long putt 😂 | millwallfan
15/3/2021 11:20 | Alan, Did you keep DRX? NICE jump this morning! | up just a little bit
15/3/2021 10:50 | ARP, isnt Greens money in his wife's name? He's such a caring person.... Not..... I wonder if he will end up slipping of his yacht? Gordon would give the mine away under the guise of keeping up foreign relations and maybe throw some gold in as well. :-))Zoo | zooman
15/3/2021 10:44 | Alan, bought some more Tullow this morning that took a little time to fill.Zoo | zooman
15/3/2021 10:18 | Up. The curtain will rise once the share price reaches £3 but I'm selling tickets now and have a couple of nice seats in the front row if you're interested. | theapiarist |
