15/3/2021 12:19 | Mill, I'll duck that one thanks. When I retired I was so pleased to see the back of the politics etc, been there seen it and got the Tshirt. Then to add shareholders into the mix. No thank you. Zoo | zooman

15/3/2021 12:00 | TheA. Now now let’s not get others started on Scottish politics. I know from my many years experience as number 2 and being the statutory Monitoring Officer at a very large Council the trials and tribulations of having to deal with politicians virtually on a daily basis. If you want the HR job send me your CV and I will put a good word in for you when I give the boss his coffee and extra favourite biscuits ! | millwallfan
15/3/2021 11:45 | MWF. What about the the HR department? Surely we have several potential candidates. PS Lets hope your next putt isn't a Nicola (nasty little five footer). | theapiarist
15/3/2021 11:27 | CEO. ZOO CFO. SAGEMAN PR. ALAN GENERAL DOGSBODY, CLEANER, TEABOY ME - I’ve more than had my fill of all 3 above roles thanks so the only thing I want taxing my brain now is how to read the next long putt 😂 | millwallfan
15/3/2021 11:20 | Alan, Did you keep DRX? NICE jump this morning! | up just a little bit
15/3/2021 10:50 | ARP, isnt Greens money in his wife's name? He's such a caring person.... Not..... I wonder if he will end up slipping of his yacht? Gordon would give the mine away under the guise of keeping up foreign relations and maybe throw some gold in as well. :-))Zoo | zooman
15/3/2021 10:44 | Alan, bought some more Tullow this morning that took a little time to fill.Zoo | zooman
15/3/2021 10:18 | Up. The curtain will rise once the share price reaches £3 but I'm selling tickets now and have a couple of nice seats in the front row if you're interested. | theapiarist
15/3/2021 10:13 | Yes ARP. There was a time when Gordon Brown would have been a shoe-in for the post. But, alas, he is now yesterdays man albeit with an unfortunate habit, like Tony Blair and John Major, of popping his head up and embarrassing himself. As for Philip Green - he is far too good at doing what he does. Zoo. I accept your rebuke. But I did say "dream team" | theapiarist
15/3/2021 09:49 | TA - Perhaps Philip Green could be Chairman as he's renowned for putting shareholders and employees interests first. | arphillips
15/3/2021 09:44 | Apologies, are you putting on a performance of Macbeth? | up just a little bit
15/3/2021 09:41 | TA - I think Gordon Brown should be the CFO as he's particularly astute at timing the gold market! | arphillips
15/3/2021 09:41 | good morning , not much going on again hut a few bits and pieces up, looks like sunrise is rising from the dead ,off out now to get some sunshine have a good morning , | alangriffbang
15/3/2021 09:37 | Women only then? :-))Zoo | zooman
15/3/2021 09:29 | My choice of dream team:- Chairman - Ursula von der Leyen CEO - Nicola Sturgeon CFO - Christine Legarde | theapiarist
14/3/2021 23:14 | Worse case scenario the board could get their kids to run the company. :-))Zoo | zooman
14/3/2021 22:18 | Mill, to be honest if that path plays out which I tend to think may well be the case as well, for what its worth so does EL. If the D word came into force and it were to be a Chinese gov agency involved given the hoops they,ve made us jump through for the licence I've no doubt they will add pressure in some shape or form to control a negotiated price in their favour. However if the mine were to be in Australia for example I would be in favour of the D word rather than buybacks but China is a dirty word in the markets unfortunately. Not only on the financial side but on their human rights just for starters. Given the likes of what were are seeing around the world the Institutions are looking to be seen as being more ethical etc. On balance though as you say China could well be the route out, it will be interesting.Zoo | zooman
14/3/2021 22:02 | Gal, you must stop all of that exercise its clearly not good for you. Good to hear that you seem to be on the right side of it now. Zoo | zooman
14/3/2021 21:29 | hi millwallfan I’m awash with gold shares every time I said no more I went and bought another one, my favourite at the moment is gun, l just love reading the upbeat weekends posts I go to bed on Sunday night elated and usually by 8 30 on Monday morning I’m completely deflated, ha ha ha ,let’s hope tomorrow will be a good day, | alangriffbang
14/3/2021 21:23 | galoot I’m 82 and it looks as if I’ve got away with it all, can’t wait for my second jab, | alangriffbang
14/3/2021 21:18 | ARP I have had Covid and not lightly. I tested positive, and just one of my symptoms was shingles. My older brother (72 years old) had the vaccine and developed a severe rash around his waist and back very similar to my mine. He recovered in about five days, me three weeks. Make of it what you will. Get well soon. | galoot
14/3/2021 21:05 | I would be amazed if there is a takeover from the existing major shareholders as I have commented before similar to Zoo any move would have been in the 30-40p range as I truly believe that deep down they knew the licence would be issued at some point and have had a clear inkling on the (now public) true extent of the resources. Also given their age I would imagine that they are looking to get max value ASAP to even better fund their retirements. I agree with others the most likely scenario of any bid would be from a chinese company of government agency as very very few foreign companies make good in China, Griffin are a true exception. IMHO £2 later this year (July H1 with volume projections) should be nailed on assuming zinc and gold don’t tank. This time next year Rodders.....today | millwallfan
14/3/2021 18:58 | TA - Thanks that's very re-assuring to hear. You're certainly testament to a full recovery. It does seem abnormally prevalent among GFM shareholders, I hope it doesn't deter some new investors who'll take us to the next level. | arphillips
14/3/2021 17:24 | ARP. Sorry to hear of your shingles. It seems that those holding GFM are particularly susceptible!! Like you I too had it on my scalp and above my left eye immediately following a cataract operation. If it is any comfort to you I contracted it 25 years ago and still have 20/20 vision. | theapiarist |
