Newmont are currently the only gold stock on the S&P500 and now attracting the smart money. They peaked in April 2022 at around $80 and then fell to $29 serially underperforming on the way down. GDX and GDXJ bought in February this year and Newmont are up about 70% and GDJ & GDXJ are up 50% since too, the latter a little higher. NMT had great results in the 1st quarter when gold was at 2090 with gold now up to 2340 expect excellent 2nd quarter results on Wednesday next and a continuing sea change in the mining sector.

Stock price: NEM (NYSE) US$47.00 -0.51 (-1.07%)

telbap,

Actually, I called it right on all MATAD, GDR, and SCE.

It's not spamming if its informative info, especially if it's correct.

Better than some baseless ramps like x pence next week.

While it's quiet over here, some might wanna take a look at SCE.

Production doubled.

No fundraise required.

Does anybody have an idea of how many Millions of shares Actusray have on their GGP short currently or recently.
I know it was around 70 million March this year but do not know how much now.

Last right of refusal would have been written into the paperwork of the Newcrest farm in to Havieron in April 2019 which at that time I am sure would have been to protect themselves from Greatland selling their share(whatever it was at the time) of the mine to another.
But LROR works both ways (for the little guy as well) as has been proved in the past and will be proved in the future.
I do not think then that Sandeep would have ever envisioned the possibility of GGP ever owning 100% of Havieron but it is now a distinct possibility.

Worst case scenario here is that Greatland share price will be quite a bit higher than it is today when Newmonts package that is 70% of Havieron and Telfer is sorted out.
Newmont would not be spending millions fixing the tailings dams plus other maintenance work at Telfer unless it was intending processing the Havieron ore.
The decline is 80% complete, almost down to the rich ore.
A widened road is ready to transport the ore between Havieron and Telfer.
Havieron will be mined whether GGP has 30% of it,100% of it or something in between, or a new JV partner.
Newcrest and Newmont has spent hundreds of millions $A on Havieron and Telfer mining extensions and repairs, so why would they walk away now and then spend another $A 250 million plus to decommission it when they have a willing buyer who has last right of refusal to match other offers and the right to mine the ore body if Newmont do not.

It would appear Toast was obviously mistreated as a child Telbap. He has no idea how awful he sounds using derogatory terms like that. Where are you hailing from Toast the 1950s?
