No you can’t get any decent bet on with spread ex. As someone who bets millions I actually know how they all work. Spread ex are the most cold broker. Go and try and get two banana worth on and see how it goes ya daft mug. Spreadex will then want do an arranged bet that they feed direct to market. The leverage will get pumped up well over 100 percent on even small bets. What you think is available is not actually Available. Even cmc a far bigger broker will show you a market available but try and get a modest position on and it locks down. You would have no problem getting on as you a monkey who bets less than two bananas. You are the one that is a mug because I am the only person here that bets at size on CFDs and spreads and I know all the tricks of the brokers. Most of the brokers including spreadex lay off bets to IG.

Tell you what ring up spreaders and tell them you want 20,000 a point (modest position ) short on GGP and see what terms you get ya daft broke ramping stupid mug. When the toast talks listen and shut your mouth for stuff you know nothing about.

Of course investment banks will do it for professional institutions and as I said IB where most hedge funds have accounts offer it for 2200 percent margin which no retail trader here would put up for a short. Now STFU you daft one share ramping mugs.

Carbon Head. You are right, no retail trader can get a short position on. However, Spreadex will let you short on favourable terms if you are foolish enough to do it at these prices. Also, I am sure hedge funds or bank trading desks can get what ever positions they want, don't be so bloody naive it makes you look even more foolish than usual.

New Airstrip cost - i have no idea but this guy built one in Canada

Well since no one has given you the cost, I will tell you. 2 Years ago I designed and built a 5,000′ X 100′ runway in northern Canada. It was designed for 150,000lbs planes.

You will need to get geotechnical analysis to determine what kind of structure you will need to support that weight. In our case it was 600mm of 75mm minus or pit run gravel, 250mm of high spec 10mm minus, and then 150mm of asph in completed in two lifts.

All other “engineering” you can do yourself as there are government documents that tell you the specs and distances everything needs to be.

The runwway had $4m worth of gravel, $2.5 million in contractors for grading, prepping the site, placing and compacting gravel, and $2m for asphalt. Lights will cost you as low as $200k if you go solar and painting lines will be $10,000. A GPS approach can be designed and built for about $75,000. Over the project about $250,000 was spent on surveying and drafting and $100,000 for onsite geo data like compaction tests etc.

We built it in 2 months.

So roughly the cost of a 5000 foot runway is just over $9m so a 6000′ should be just over $10.5m.

The way I see things, especially with the appointment of a new CFO is we are extremely close to a deal being finalised.

The team Shaun has brought in are phenomenal. The top of their game in every aspect to run a tier 1 multi asset gold and copper mining company.

I'm 💯 % confident that most of the negotiations and paperwork has been finalised. I think our team are just waiting on confirmation that the tailings dam at Telfer has been fixed and the aquifier at Havieron has been stabilised and we are good to go.

Not worried in the slightest about funding, especially with Shaun's financial background and our backers with deep pockets.

All of the stars are aligning

H1, apparently there is also a mammoth gold deposit beneath the airstrip. I did a quick search on costs to build a new airstrip in the outback. Less than $300k including a mini tower. Telfer already has all of the infrastructure. Just a quick dismantle job to a new strip

For any newbies reading these threads. There was an apparent leak of a placing for GGP to list on ASX. Shaun quickly put this rumour to bed but by then it was far to late for many as they had already taken out huge short positions. The reason you keep see 5p being bandied around is that this is the share price these short sellers need just to break even. Not forgetting that they are paying interest on all of these borrowed shares. Remember, all of these borrowed shares need to be bought back. 🔥

Shaun is not going to take on Telfer until he is 100% confident that the tailings dam has been fixed. I'm sure all of the negotiations has already been done and our new CFO is finalising paperwork ready to be signed

H1, if we take 100% ownership of Telfer just in time of the tailings dam being fixed we hit the ground running as there are millions and millions of tonnes of gold ore ready to be processed. As we know Telfer has the capacity to process 27mt p/a

It's a win, win
