10/10/2022 11:34 | The hatchet is there to help investors who want to avoid being f'--'kd-up'. My hatchet jobs and my positive puffs ALWAYS include full explanation at some point, which readers can assess for themselves, or ignore because too painful, or fail to understand - as the case may be. | lurker5
10/10/2022 10:21 | Mr Proton. I've been following shares and mining shares for a very long time, and writing about them for institutions also for a very long time. About 1/3rd of the 70 or so I'e written about in the last ten years have been buys - very successful. But 2/3rds have been sells - also successful. In fact until I stopped counting and writing so much about 6 years ago, out of 48 reccs that were audited then only one had been usuccessful, and even that came right but later than I thought. The majority again were sells. The reason ? - In addition to fund managers I had started writing for private investors a long time ago and so came upon the AIM market where it is well known that a majority of investors lose money. Why ? because there is no decent research for them. That from AIM brokers is always very poor and biassed. And especially poor, bassed and hopelessly unprofessional, are the 'opinions' on most bulletin boards where very few professional investors go. I happen to be interested so write for those intellgent investors who know that and want a better opinion. I hope that is clear for you. I will continue writing where I see a share that is over-hyped (or under-hyped). | lurker5

10/10/2022 09:18 | Harmony Gold back in Australia with copper acquisition Copper Mountain Mining has sold its wholly-owned Eva copper project and its 2100 square kilometre exploration land package in Queensland to Harmony Gold Mining for about $US230 million. Under the terms of the transaction, the Canadian-based company will receive: $US170m in cash payable on closing of the transaction Up to $US30m in cash, based on a contingent payment arrangement where Harmony will pay Copper Mountain 10 per cent of the incremental revenue generated from the Eva project and the Australian exploration land package above the revenue assuming a US$3.80/lb copper price Up to $US30min cash, based on a contingent payment arrangement where Harmony will pay Copper Mountain 3c per pound of contained copper for any SAMREC copper resource discovered and declared on a new deposit within the project and the Australian exploration land package after the closing of the transaction. | pr0t0n
09/10/2022 19:34 | Imagine being so thick as to ignore a series of research based comments which could have saved someone losing his piggy bank and which said loser could have checked through his own research. But, then, one has to have a brain to realise that. | lurker5
09/10/2022 13:32 | @27406 Imagine being 85 years old going around telling folks half his age what they should do with their money because he knows the `best`. UNBELIEVABLE! Another day, another Victor Meldrew`s take. | pr0t0n
08/10/2022 06:41 | Indeed! A similar pattern over the past few days! Nothing new there really I guess, it is AIM after all! PS. Where have all the prolific 4p & 6p predictor naysayers gone? GLA! | timberwolf

07/10/2022 11:26 | Re those 'broker' targets. Note Harmony Gold's just announced acquisition of EVA's Queensland copper/gold project is based on a NPV at a 8% discount rate. Shows up GGP's puffers' use of 5% to inflate above what an acquirer would consider - let alone the further puff from including guesses about income up to 30 years away. Suspect this was urged on them by SD and adds further to the impression of his bluster. Explains why the savvy rumbled him a long time ago. | lurker5
07/10/2022 11:04 | All resolutions passed. EGM imminent. Fully funded. | jaka

07/10/2022 06:44 | Gold Market Commentary - World Gold Council 6th October 2022 SUMMARY We think the dollar will be a key driver of gold prices over the next few months and see risks to dollar strength primarily from valuation, positioning and further central bank intervention – which would be gold supportive, in our view. In addition, it appears that gold investors now view policy rate rises as less of a threat to gold than before. They appear to have accepted Fed hawkishness and its terminal rate forecast. In addition, their sensitivity to Federal Market Open Committee (FOMC) announcements has fallen and the growing yield curve inversion and forward rate expectations signal a consensus expectation for lower rates ahead. | timberwolf |
