As far as one can see Telbap the rise in 2020 was based on mawkish sentiment. Those here from 2021 will have an opposite frame of reference. |
Fair position. I see your point as it does feel like finger nail share price increases here, however, those of us who were here in 2020 will know what a rocket ship this stock can be when the fire is lit. |

Newcrest in the past 5-10 years lost their focus on Telfer and just chose the better grade easy pickings mostly open pit which had greater volumes.
Underground lower grade ore (of which there is plenty) was mostly ignored then, but will be very profitable now at today's gold/copper prices, and Shaun Day knows it.
Telfer will be a leaner more focused and organised operation now and things will be looked at in a different perspective compared to how it was ran in the past.
Several million ounces of gold is still be be found underground that was supposed to be there when under Newcrest tenure.
West Dome Deeps (better grades) will be part of that.It has been drilled by Newmont in the past few months along with other extensions which will give Telfer a new lease of life. |

Share prof. As many of us have alluded to on this BB, we do indeed need some meat on the bones. This will come in the form of a Telfer mine plan upgrade, 1st qtr figures which will reveal our true overhead, asx cross listing, hav DFS and more upgrade to what it ought to have been in December 23. And sooooo much more, 2025 will be a year of catylistic growth for GGP, and also, $2800 spot gold. Once we have some real overhead figures, mr market can then calculate how to reward us when gold keeps increasing in price. Sit on the side lines or join the fun, the choice is yours. I don't criticise you either way. |
