GTE has very good advantage on current Cancún summitt. Swedent govt has selected gte their role model to take the deal in signing global contract. Very positive....

when a share price rises some 48% in a day the companies are under pressure from AIM to make an announcement re the share price movement.

"we know of no reason for the share price movement etc,etc"

the fact they haven't done that suggests to me that they know exactly why it is moving and I expect an RNS early next week....

I enjoyed that, Knowing; it seems a shame that GTE is being forced to sell this side of the business where it has clearly been so highly successful. Surely all that technology must be worth a very considerable sum so the final outcome of the current ongoing negotiations, when and if it transpires, should prove very interesting indeed.

Funny how its all got so lively on the markets, and busy on here, all of a sudden. Does someone know something we don't ? Has the time really come at last to take a very deep breath indeed in expectation of a possible crumb of positive news, however meagre ? Or should we merely steel ourselves to accept all this unusual activity as no more than a warning "shot across the bows" to prepare for the lifeboats ? In either event, on past experience, it would seem unlikely after Monday's opening that sedatives will be needed !

6K i think it may be bargain hunters to be honest. these type of percentage rises often occur when there is no weight on the share price as well when there are also no trade sales due to the price coming off the bottom. the trade sellers had practically all cleared up over the past week or so.
i would like to think that this type of price rise might spur on the company to update the market with the current position ref asset sale and trading.
if they manage to complete the asset, i reckon it may come in at between $10 and $12m at best.

they NEVER mentioned a JV...they are two a penny....asset sale is key and what they said to the market...
