A better start to the week for GTE , interest is picking up and at least we are seeing blue.I checked out the Asian conference website at the weekend , makes interesting reading and would recommend GTE shareholders to have a look.

Tullynessle, all this is very encouraging and indicates clearly that GTE is actively trying very hard to improve its commercial fortunes on as broad a front as possible. Personally I wish they would draw attention to these endeavours rather more directly in the UK, for example by encapsulating notice of such activities in suitable RNSs since IMO this sort of news could quite reasonably be interpreted as price sensitive, especially having regard to the prevailing extremely lowly share price. I know that their website is very informative but you have specifically to go to it to discover such information and only the really devout fans seem likely to do that. If notification by periodic RNSs is not possible could they not give notice from time to time of such marketing ventures either directly to the UK press, and/or even via an ally directly to this and like threads. They could also send this sort of information out to interested parties through the e-mail "alerts system" rather than simply confining it to posted RNSs. I do believe that there is an urgent need for GTE to promote its business, and heighten its profile, more widely among the investing public here in the UK, and to be seen to be doing so; this might in due course work wonders for the share price.

Its one thing attending these conferences but only if it leads to SALES.There was no announcement after the European one back in the summer of new orders , so team GTE "you must try harder".

Gas Turbine Efficiency to Present its Products, Technical Information at Power Gen Asia in Singapore

GTE will be attending the conference and exhibition to showcase Energy Industry solutions to turbine owners and operators

ORLANDO, Florida - Gas Turbine Efficiency plc (AIM: GTE), a leader in energy and aviation products and services, will be attending Pennwell's annual Power Gen Asia Conference and Exhibition in Singapore to present its entire array of power generation products to gas turbine owners and technical staff.

GTE plans to showcase its complete portfolio of products and services, including DLN upgrade packages, combustion repair capabilities, fuel conditioning systems, and compressor wash solutions at the Exhibition, interacting with gas turbine users to improve the reliability and financial viability of gas turbines in use by operators worldwide.

Pennwell is the owner and producer of many Power Generation Conferences worldwide including Power Gen Europe, Power Gen India and Power Gen Middle East. The conference draws the attention of technical and management staff from gas turbine professionals in the Energy Industry, including power plant owners and suppliers.

GTE's water wash product line is of particular interest to Power Gen Asia delegates since this proprietary technology has been shown to provide up to 3% of performance recovery, 1% reduction in heat rate and 2% in availability improvements. Robert Burke, Application Engineering Manager at GTE, has been selected by the Power Gen committee to present during the "Operation and Maintenance" session on 2 November from 16.00 to 17.30.

At Power Gen Asia, Mr. Burke will present a number of water wash case studies included within his paper Application of a Multi-Stage Compressor Cleaning System on Large Frame DLN Combustion Turbines. blimey, no bickering today. hopefully some aviation business sale news isn't too far off, should be interesting to see what price it goes for. considering the 5 or 6 large corporates got their grant from the FAA of USD25M each to do R&D into cleantech products for the airline business it will surely be one of those co's who snaps up the business.
