21/11/2018 07:29 | The fact is that Kili is valued at zero by the market, at best, so any write down on Kili is unlikely to have a negative effect. The solution is stage 3 and the problem is who will finance it. | ![]() kimboy2
21/11/2018 05:27 | sea7 - you are so right and this 8 mil or so is a major problem. It is just sitting there like a large thorn in the side? I cannot see a satisfactory solution to this and basically it is down to the stupidity of GKG? Perhaps as he loves mining so much he would like to take it off our hands himself? Fat chance of that? | ![]() michaelfenton
20/11/2018 23:34 | Kili owes the holding company GMR - £5,087,000 in loans and borrowings. Kili owes Goldplat recovery - £1.8m in receivables, and £1.1m in goods/services/equip That means kili currently owes the group - £7,987,000 It was also written down by about £2m a few years ago, which was preproduction costs iirc. That amount owed to the holding company increased by £340k last year. | ![]() sea7
20/11/2018 22:15 | Eurasia (EUA) shares traded at over 250p in 1997, relative to their 25-30p level today. The market for platinum and palladium is very healthy and with the backing of Anglo the group could deliver a handsome return for shareholders over the longer run. But the Urals region is not without its risks and hazards. One for the speculative investor only. https://citywire.co. | applegarthlse
20/11/2018 14:23 | I think that Kili could be transformed with an investment. The problem is I think that GDP cash, let alone management time, could be more profitably used elsewhere. On valuations I suspect that the 82kozs TSF is worth more than the market cap atm. | ![]() kimboy2
20/11/2018 13:21 | DD, you are probably right under present conditions. However, a potential partner and a capital injection will change that. | ![]() pog1234
20/11/2018 09:50 | Because something has never made a profit does not mean that its value doesn't alter. The valuation will be based on future potential profitability, among other things. As for the market viewing the company negatively that is certainly the case. I would say irrationally. For example the South African subsidiary made a post tax profit of £2.7m last year, yet the whole business is valued at about £6m. | ![]() kimboy2

18/11/2018 13:10 | Interesting question as to if they just walked away from Kili that would have a positive effect on the share price IMV it is valued negatively by the market. Don't think that is realistic but a series of annual losses soon add up to more than the value of the mine. | ![]() kimboy2
18/11/2018 11:35 | Ghana will be suffering politically and economically witht he artisanal ban and will be under huge pressure to lift it. I think the delay has been in coming up with a comprehensive solution to the problem. It will be goog news when it happens. | ![]() kimboy2

17/11/2018 14:09 | I would like, if I may to make the following points: 1.The EBITDA valuation marks the low, we are there. 2.The steep drop from 5p to 3.5p, suggests investor capitulation, i.e. the sellers are out, this frequently hints at the final low. 3.A positive catalyst could come from any direction, perhaps addressing gold production difficulties at Kilimapesa Mine. 4.The bottom is mostly a process rather than an event, this price level will take some time to work through. 5.As long as management is good, CEO Kisbey-Green appears sound, remedies can be found for any difficulty-the big money is made in the big swing, and the stock is not going down to China. | ![]() utsushi
