The intention is to provide GSR with the option to earn 75% of Goldplat's interest in Anumso (67.5% of the overall project interest) by expending an aggregate of US$3.0 million on exploration on the Project over 2.5 years. The LOI provides for two option periods: in the first option period GSR will be given the opportunity to earn a 51% interest in the Project by expending US$1.5 million on exploration on the Project over 18 months, and in the second option period an additional 24% interest can be earned by expending a further US$1.5 million on exploration on the Project over the following 12 months.

GSR will be the operator of the exploration and development program during the option periods and the licenses will remain in Goldplat's name. If GSR does not exercise the second option, a Joint Venture will be formed and both parties will contribute pro-rata to further development with either non-contributing party being diluted. If either party is diluted to 10%, this interest will be converted into a 1.5% Net Smelter Return ("NSR"), which can be bought out by the other party for US$100,000 per 0.1%, for an aggregate of USD1.5 million.

Indeed some good news though by the brevity of the RNS seems like GKG is still sulking.

Can anyone off the top of their head outline what this means in actual terms for us?

TIA.

because the initial aims of this company when it listed, were to be a mid tier miner with recovery operations.

Demetri started the JV in kenya with IGE, as they were known. He raised £5.5m of further capital in 2010 to develop anumso, nyieme and kili

you know the rest - we are here, because this is where demetri positioned the company at the listing date.

The aim listing document details this and the objective of becoming a junior miner, instead of a mid tier miner, is the only change that Gerard has made to that objective, as outlined years ago.

No, my question is:
The gold recovery business seems to be a big profit earner.
Why has shareholder capital been frittered away on "other projects"?

The question you should be asking is..

russman and rodson, why if you hate the stock so much, do you waste your valuable time here, instead of somewhere else.

bit silly really and is a reflection on the types of characters you are.

Ashanti Gold Corp to exercise Anumso Earn-in Option for 51% -

Gerard Kisbey-Green, CEO of Goldplat, said, "I am delighted that Ashanti
have elected to exercise their option over Anumso, validating their
confidence in the project. We have worked well with Ashanti to date and
I believe that the partnership has, and will continue to add value to
the asset, and more importantly, to our shareholders and to all other
stakeholders including the local community."

& lets not forget that platinum testing is gaining momentum.
Probably because it is going downhill; like the rest of GDPs "dreams".

Gerard has indicated that they are back on track for this FY after two tough quarters,
so we will see if things play out as he is expecting.

Well I don't know about a 10 yr plan but I understand the 3 year plan. Whether they can execute it is of course another matter. If they get anywhere near executing then the share price will be miles ahead of present.

As for a market cap of £5m the SA operation produced a post tax profit of £2.7m last year and is worth a multiple of the GDP market cap on its own. That is not counting the TSF which is also worth a multiple on its own.

If it comes to that I suspect that Kili is worth more than £5m.

Anyway we shall see.

you are being offensive DD - by that comment. Not that I am bothered by it, I only post on this board, as it is the only public forum for goldplat that gets one or two others talking about the company.

The linkedin post is in relation to the composition of the team in brazil

Look I know what GDP are doing, I have been involved here for over a decade and
as for your comment re not knowing what a long term strategic plan is, then I can see your comments starting to sound like miller - so I won't continue.

nope - I hold here and have a good dialogue with the BOD - as should any interested party, although I do not pester them every day, as they have jobs to do.
