what joy!! no muggy posts from rodson/miller - as he has allegedly put me on filter, then I can happily post comments, safe in the knowledge that I will not have to endure his feeble, infantile and pointless posts.

if it does fall back to 5p, then i will be loading up.

I wouldn't be so smug miller, especially as your pet lion has collapsed nearly 50% in a matter of a day or two. You were played like a right mug by that lot. Holding that bag again miller aren't you.

Just as I said the dead duck goldplonk simply can not hold onto any gains. Fallen back again today.

There is a strong pressure dragging this down to around 5p-

I think what I said is what is likely to transpire, though it is interesting whether a dividend would reduce dilution by forcing up the share price

The question is really how much cash they are going to need, and when, for these potential investments. There is also a potential mining venture in the background. I am not certain whether the Ghana developments have pushed this back or not.

The cash flow from existing operations should be pretty good, and increasing. There is stage 3 at Kili and the stock dam in the pipeline. Once that is done cash should be £5-6m pa.

There is then potential borrowings. It may be some soft loans are available fr the Ghana clean up for example.

Anyway lots of potential developments. The important thing is to do what Manolis didn't do and make sure the basic operations are the cash cow to fund the rest.

Kimboy - I am inclined to agree with you. There is a lot on the table at present an d quite possibly substantial capital expense. The way i see things is that more capital will be needed and as previously stated a 10p share price is required. Of course a dividend would help the share price but none of us really wants any dilution? Sp patience is required but quite a few balls in the air so concentration needed by the board. Any price below 8p is a a good time to add?

I hear what you are saying Kimboy, but there is the possibility that they want the share price to more realistic levels c 12p before funding expansion via a share issue. Paradoxically a dividend could actually get the company more finance if it started a virtous circle - not saying it will happen, just a possibility with such a low prospective P/E of below 4 currently i.e. earnings yield of over 25% and increasing.

I don't think we will get a dividend until the current investment cycle has finished, and that seems to keep expanding.

The clean up in Ghana could clearly be a major opportunity, and the plan is for a long term contract.

This could potentially dwarf the other operations and could be rolled out internationally. It is going to require some major investment I suspect.

There is no doubt both the Ghana government and GDP want to get on with it so hopefully they can get a contract signed in short order.

The underlying fact is that people are dying while a contract is discussed.

With earnings likely 2p+ plus per share this year and that becoming clear with the interims in a couple of months there is limited room now for mkt makers to shake this down now,Dinky. Must also be a decent chance of a resumption of dividends at some stage if the board want to get the share price at a more realistic level- a 0.5p dividend would be over four times covered by earnings and give a current yield of over 7%, that might attract a few new buyers :)

Again, Mkt Makers can't call these down fast enough. Pitiful volume today in comparison to recent average daily volume, and someone leaning on the offer. When GDP going up, you'll see 0.75p-1p spread, when there's a small seller, the spread is 0.25p as some ar5ehole Mkt Maker wants to force them down.

Yeah sure you keep following the like of S7 and KB2 they surely know their stuff problem is they don't like being talked back to as many others here such as DD have discovered. And of course the current state of the share price which speaks for itself. Yep man you stay with them please.

I really welcome your critique as it just proves there are more brainwashed idiots than Sly7 and his bedmate KB2 supporting this dead duck share which is going nowhere while the mighty Lion roars........up over 300% since I told the clowns to buy in.. ........you can just but laugh at their stupidity. Titter titter titters!

As a long term GOLDPLONKED holder you must be losing a fortune no wonder you are clinging to the rampers' skirt tails.......perfectly understandable old bean.

However I will leave you with this.......if you expect GOLDPLAT to return to the highs it once falsely achieved ......forget it as its only going down.....just watch!

Come back in a few years to tell me I am right on, yet again, if by that time the seemingly unpleasant cloud damp Scottish climate has not further rotted your brain.

The Apart from demonstrating that all scobberlotchers are full of whiffle-whaffle, you come across as the offspring of a right real pair of the fopdoodle Flibbertigibbetsters thought to be long extinct!
