Ah ok that makes sense - from searching for Goldplat on the shareprophets site I assume it is this:

I haven't accessed the article though because it is behind a paywall and I don't think it will tell us anything we don't already know on this board.

First buy above 8p seen for a while and a bit of volume for a change - maybe tipped somewhere? Although can't see anything obvious. ZAR gold price has been doing well over the past few months but nothing out of the ordinary today that would drive sudden action.

Oh well back to sleep, wake me when we get some news or hit the 17p VSA price target!

Looking at the VSA eps fcasts.
Gradual would be a fair comment.
Did not think GDP was cashflow positive last year.
If you take account of the Aurumet advance.

Well miller/rodson, so good of you to praise my activities in your post. I see that KB has chosen to copy and paste the relevant section from your post, otherwise I would have missed such a kind comment.

KB2 you are so thick and would rather nitpick than be sauté. Read the post.

The first sentence is dedicated to you the feast is headed CameronGD53. Do you seriously think I would wish and evil mind piece do sh^t such as you.GOOD LUCK. NEVER.

further I have previously addressed your failings in having a parochial mindset. There is a world beyond these shores, get international man as it's an increasingly small one.

I suggest you start by getting a Good American dictionary.
best Danson

ALTHOUGH THAT SAID I HAVE NO DOUBT SUCH UNCERTAINTY WILL BE INTERSTITIALLY(sic) BRIGHTENED BY BITS AND PIECES OFF(sic) OPPORTUNISTIC NEWS Affording ONE THE PROFITABLE OPPORTUNITY TO STEP IN AND OUT SMARTLY LIKE S7 et al.

GDP isn't really a trading share because of the spread. The volume is often pretty thin as well. I would think that there are many better shares for this, though at least you would be trading a rising share with GDP.

As for everything taking years well the turnaround at Kili is here and now. It just hasn't come through in the numbers yet.

Two or three months and it will be and then we will be substantially higher IMV.

GOOD LUCK IN ANY EVENT

Thank you very much and the same to you Dan.

Please don't talk of the real world as your infantile approach to many things clearly demonstrates that you know nothing of it.

Camerongd53. I would like to agree with you but that agreement whereas not impractical will take some years to come into fruition.

GOLDPLAT suffers badly from a lack of confidence and at present has a new management team hampered by old guard mentality. This may change by such change will be slow and laborious. Also there is still the Rand case to conclude and the uncertainty over doing business in SA.

Indeed. I am expecting H1/18 attributable to be better than the whole of last year because of the Kili turnaround and the second half to be stronger still.

The course of the share price that I suggested was that there would be a gradual closing of the gap to where the share price should be as confidence in the prospective numbers grew. That would seem to be happening.

On top of that are things like the potential major contract in Ghana, a potential mining venture, the stock dam etc which could do away with any gradualism.

While the logic of this argument is usually lost on this thread it won't be lost in the real world.

Based on past experience, I think there is a good possibility that the price will drop back next week and think it may be a good wager if on the right terms.
However I think it is a better wager that in 3 months after the interim results and more so after the next annual results that the share price will be much higher.
I believe the current share price only reflects last years results and takes no account that Killi will probably not be loss making - this is £1million tax free increase in profits that is not in the current price. Also any improvement in the recovery operations is in the current price for nothing.
My wager is on the share price rising (irrespective of any dip next week) as I have a reasonable shareholding. I will treat a significant drop in price as a chance to buy.
I think that shorting for longer than next week is extremely risky in that I believe as stated above that the share price sometime possibly in the near future will rise significantly with no major falling back. If the price does not drop it is a wasted bet and with a massive risk on a medium term rising price

Notice that the rand price of gold is rising - up 14% in the last 6 months and 7% in the last month. Can only be good news.

Is anyone going to the proactive meeting tomorrow? I expect it will be an introductory level presentation for new punters.

It would be nice if we got an update tomorrow on a few things then he could chat about that at the meeting.

I refer to my earlier post, russman.

Kili has been hard work and generated nothing but losses until very recently. These VAT refunds are several years old, in some cases.

They will address these outstanding payments to kili gold at some point. It is how long it takes to get to that point is the issue.

S7 STILL SINGING THE SAME OLD SONG WHEN WILL HE GROW UP.

The EXAMPLE S7 STATES...I felt the company should stick to its core purpose, which is the recovery of gold from mine waste material and the recovery of other precious metals from the same....BUT THEY CAN'T EVEN GET THIS SIMPLE OPERATION WORKING EFFICIENTLY AS THERE ARE ALWAYS PROBLEMS WHEREVER GDP SETS IT FOOT.

ANYWAY BACK TO NOW!

THE share price HAS TUMBLED AGAIN JUST AS I SAID IT WOULD. AND ITS GOT FURTHER TO FALL.

HAVE A GREAT DAY.

yep, however, Gerard and co decided that they would attempt to salvage something from the debacle that Kili had become. Had Demetri not wasted the company funds on this venture, then the last ten years of losses would not have been booked.

I stated years ago, that I felt the company should stick to its core purpose, which is the recovery of gold from mine waste material and the recovery of other precious metals from the same.

I knew that the admission document outlined a desire to become a mining company in addition to the recovery business, so I was under no illusion over this aspect of the company, however, I did not expect Demetri to make such a mess of the mining aspirations.
