good conference call. west pit three could be concluded within the next 12 months and they have a plan b c and d, if this doesn't pan out. Seems like they are still wading through treacle, trying to get this new tailing pit going in benoni.

yep, its the only person smeagle has to talk to. Himself. No one else is fooled or interested in his BS.

He is currently engaged in a high level discussion between himself and his alter ego - rodson1. So, as soon as he finishes that discussion with himself, then he will no doubt read these comments on here and make a post about how he is not miller.

Haha - Haven't looked in here for a while - but see pop my head in and see Rodson STILL trying to pretend that he isn't Smeagle/Dan Miller.

A psychiatrist wouldn't know where to start.

I have to laugh at the pair of clowns also quick to criticise but never calling it right. Only Miller has the right angle on this dead horse....which is now sitting exactly where he said it would be right on 5p

Next step into the 4s?

Has anyone else got their questions in for tomorrow? If we want the company to do this sort of thing again it is going to need some shareholder engagement.

It may be that they actually have something to announce and we get an RNS tomorrow. It may be that there is just a lull in announcements, till the finals in September anyway, and they just slotted in to fill the void.

Anyway we will know tomorrow.

Dont see gdp can say anything that has not been included in the previous news.Maybe some of the other capitalised costs will be going down the kitchen sink.

Clearly it is not a valid argument to say the share price is at this level therefore all my pet theories about the company are correct.

IMV the present share price is irrational. That is why I am still here and that is why we invest in shares.

I am hopeful that as more information comes to market in terms of developments and profits that the market will be less irrational.

However as Keynes said the market can stay irrational a lot longer than we can stay solvent.

We shall see.

Unfortunately gdp has not been able to manage their biggest business partner due to ego

Fidelity have reduce to under 10 for political reasons

The RR issue as DD said, is a lack of contract management skills by the so called better management

Do you have any supporting evidence for these?

Sea I don't think think the company drifted aimlessly.Russell got it right and put Kili on care and maintenance and refocused on gold recovery That's what most shareholders wanted To me the big issue has been Rand RefineryWhen they could not (did not ) want to take gdp materials then that was when the company nearly went bust Simple really, if you rely on one company in a manufacturing process you had better get a strong contractual agreement with themIf gdp had had a good relationship with RR and the above did not happen the share price would have been higher than it is todayUnfortunately gdp has not been able to manage their biggest business partner due to ego If kili would have been closed down 3 years ago the share price would have been in a better place than today If you look at the share holders list matin ooi has been keeping the price up as he is now close to 10 percent Fidelity have reduce to under 10 for political reasons 11 percent is not in the public domainGood question to ask on your call would be who owns these sharesThe RR issue as DD said, is a lack of contract management skills by the so called better management The new FD is now cleaning the balance sheet and writing off £1m of assets which no one seems to think is an issue Gold mining was the big mistake and not being able to get along with RRNot rocket science

I have every intention of tuning in on the 23rd. These boards can be great for adding to the understanding of the stock, its fundamentals and its BOD. Sadly the boards do get occasional visits from some undesirables, however, that goes with all walks of life.

Companies that require turning around, rarely turnaround, as the saying goes, however, goldplat has achieved that, with a strengthened board and a coherent plan.

After Demetri left and until Hansie was given a position, the company drifted aimlessly, which cost a lot of time and money. Gerards sudden change from NEC desig, to CEO showed that the company needed someone with wisdom and vision sooner rather than later.

The company is out of the woods and on the up, same cannot be said for the share price just yet though.

Amur Minerals has a FAQ page, which works very well:

Pleasing to see GDP do the same. Nice to have more information from the company. Always seems to be a long time in between updates. I know people say that you don't want companies putting out news for the sake of it. Amur releases one each year to say that they've completed their ice road. Probably not necessary but rather nice to know.

It's why as a holder of GDP I thoroughly appreciate this board and the regulars who post here. It's a very valuable source of information. Thanks for it.

I remember trading urals energy at 4.5p back in 2013, made good money on them. They consolidated 20 for 1 this year and have taken on debt. The mid price today is 82.5p,
which in old money is 4.1p.

In over four years, they have managed to achieve next to nothing in terms of the share price. Just as well I saw it as more of a short term opportunity than a LTH.

The stock have almost traded sideways for over four years, then consolidated and has fallen from the 132p price it hit (6.6p old money), only a few months ago.

Yes Ural energy seemed to pack it in during 2015;

They used to always post Q and A on Urals Energy website, which was quite informative, however, they encountered problems, when shareholders were submitting questions, no answers were forthcoming and no publication on the website. The management carefully selected the Q and A they published to ensure that it reflected the company well and no negativity was shown.

It was a good idea, however, it was flawed, as both sides of the story were not shown.

This resulted in angry emails to management, who subsequently started to miss out monthly Q and A postings. I haven't looked in for ages to see if they have continued with it or not.

They obviously feel they have a good story.

I thought the Q&A posted on the website was a good idea. I haven't seen this format anywhere else.

The timing looked good to me as well as there is likely to be a gap in the newsflow till the finals.

My comment here came before this GDP announcement was made.
