the mkt will yawn at write offs, all money flushed down the drain long ago by GKG et al. The 1st Quarter update will be far more important for the share price, with Gold averaging $1900 in that period unless something is seriously amiss then the figures should be exceptional.

Interesting to hear they will be writing down assets other than kili although it will be non cash.

Explo assets will be Kili plus Anumso, we already know that they reckon they will get something for Anumso but not what they put into it over the years so that makes sense.

I think that the due diligence delay is due to Mayflower's fund raising exercise and getting their ducks in a row with the LSE, rather than anything untoward.

Obviously just a holding update. Positive to receive the £165k. Interesting to hear they will be writing down assets other than kili although it will be non cash. As before, my only real concern is to understand the delays to due diligence. Usually that just checks nobody is a criminal or on a sanctions list and that the buyer has the necessary skills, licenses and financial resources required.

Mayflower has advanced the balance of USD165,000 and submitted a draft re-organisation plan for Papillon, as per the agreement, and the expectation is that all the due diligence information for Mayflower and Papillon and the draft listing prospectus will be provided soon.

Werner Klingenberg, CEO of Goldplat commented: "Conducting the review and reporting of annual results under the restrictions and additional considerations brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic has been challenging. That being said, the impact on our Recovery operations have been minimal and I look forward to sharing an operational update on the first quarter of the financial year ending 30 June 2021 in the coming week

With the receipt of the balance of cash from Mayflower, Kilimapesa should have sufficient working capital to continue its tailings operations until the end of December 2020, the date by which the sale is due to be completed."

RNS today. Kili sale appears to be progressing if at snail pace? Looking forward to some numbers at the end of next week. Audit tardiness not of great worry to me but how the right down re Kili is dealt with is? Management seem to be lacking in dynamism and are overpaid as a result?

Ds2, I agree with you. I stupidly tried it once with GDP and actually came out ahead but it was daft. I'm not looking to reinvest imminently as my other investments need time to run. I expect I will miss the opportunity here but time will tell.

Kimboy - how about after the market closes tomorrow for some nice press comment. Assuming the news is good.

There should be from PPHP, if not today.

GDP's will probably be Monday.

I get selling down a big winner for portfolio management reasons but not really the in and out trading. These sort of stocks have a 5-10% spread on a good day, and liquididity can vary massively. To partially exit, pick another winner that has better short term news flow and get back in before GDP results which will be any day now seems pretty high risk when the costs such as spread are included.

Yes, I had 500k, doubled my money and went down to 250k so they were effectively free. The improvement was driven by a stupidly low price at the earlier crash and pog. Martin Ooi also helped.I still think it is massively undervalued and so will bounce over 10p. Hence, my desire to return.

I have come down Lowtrawler from 550,000 shares to 200,000 now and at a profit. This share is just a forgotten place with so many more attractive companies such as SOLG, and SHG? But I do think it will pay off one day? No thanks to management but rather the increase in POG?

I exited my GDP holding last week in order to top-up on SOLG. Will be looking for an opportunity to come back in when I have funds available. Skin in the game is certainly lacking among GDP management.

POG rising again but sellers still persist. I will probably sell some today as must exit at 7p minimum. Where is the dynamism in the management. Maybe they are being paid too much and do not have enough skin in the game? So may areas just vegitating? Yes I am losing patience but not selling all my holding.

Mf, indeed we are. My only real concern is kili. Our side of the due diligence would normally complete prior to an announcement and certainly within a few days after.

The last update said they wanted the rest of the cash to start up processing and the reorganisation plan for Papillion by October 9th. That is this Friday.

I suspect given this we will get the results on Monday.

True Lowtrawler but as of yet they have all to happen? So we are all waiting on expected good news.

Completing due diligence and successful Papillon financing will be price positive. Announcing the results with an intended new dividend policy will be price positive. The ongoing benefits of a higher gold price will be price positive. There are few reasons for it to go into reverse.

I think the price of gold also has an influence on gdp.
