23/4/2020 18:48 | I don't think Martin Ooi is interested in a takeover. IMV he is just a value investor who can see the value in GDP. | kimboy2
23/4/2020 16:17 | Gold doing well again. Approaching 1740. | glennborthwick
23/4/2020 16:17 | Thanks Lowtrawler - something to keep an eye on? | michaelfenton
23/4/2020 15:59 | He can go up to 29.9% before having to make a takeover offer. Still some distance but we remain a very cheap buy. | lowtrawler
23/4/2020 15:17 | Assuming POG rises above 2000$ which it might well do? | michaelfenton
23/4/2020 15:00 | Question for anyone with an idea? Martin Oii has amassed quite a stake in GDP. Anyone think he has takeover plans? The parts are worth way more than the whole at present. Can anyone remember at what percentage he is forced to make an offer for the rest of the shares? 10p would be enough to rattle a few cages but maybe not enough to gain control? I have a 2 year aim of 20p? | michaelfenton
23/4/2020 11:46 | 3 cheers for you shill. | michaelfenton

23/4/2020 11:19 | I think we are going to get an share price rise into the operational update which may be next Monday. The facts are that we are in for several years of virtually non existant interest rates, huge quantities of money being pumped into world economies and massive uncertainty on multiple fronts. Can't see the gold price collapsing any time soon. | kimboy2
22/4/2020 22:15 | Nice spike before end of day all buys no sells, think our seller might be finished this could be back up like a flash. | avsome1968
22/4/2020 17:08 | maxplus - true but Goldplat is a forgotten stock with big upside potential. It doe not really follow other larger gold stocks. | michaelfenton
22/4/2020 16:32 | Ticked up in the closing. It needs catching up with other gold producers. Over this week gold producers are already up | maxplus2
22/4/2020 16:07 | Suggests the MMs had stock. We have to remember that the total trades today are only about GBP 25k and so not surprising that they have just absorbed them. | lowtrawler
22/4/2020 15:06 | Looks like a few nice BUYS today but no upward movement? | michaelfenton
21/4/2020 16:27 | Thanks Kimboy as usual you have come up with pay dirt. | michaelfenton
21/4/2020 10:21 | The last report and accounts with GKG as a director at 30 June 2018 only show him with 159,626 shares and so any sales are unlikely to be them. Rather disappointingly, none of the directors past or present appear to have had any significant shareholding. | lowtrawler
21/4/2020 09:53 | Lowtrawler - true - do you know what his shareholding was when he was fired? | michaelfenton
21/4/2020 09:47 | We would get an RNS for any holder with more than 3%. | lowtrawler
21/4/2020 08:56 | The seller is still lurking. Anyone know who it might be? GKG? | michaelfenton
20/4/2020 19:10 | So 80% sounds excessively optimistic. At 40%, the profits over 2 years would still be enough to buy back all the GDP shares. | lowtrawler
20/4/2020 16:36 | We don't know what the recoveryfrom this heap is. However the expected recovery from the TSF is 50% and thathas been through the GDP system once already, unlike this heap that was purchasesd. In addition they have had the University working on the costs and recovery rate, as they have with the TSF. The thing is that GDP is going to be profitable even if output is limited. | kimboy2
20/4/2020 12:18 | Interesting calcs on the contaminated recovery. If anything like accurate, that alone is worth more than the current market capitalisation. Even assuming the original purchase was only break even at 16000, if 80% recovery is realistic, it would be worth around £4.4m a year over 2 years. | lowtrawler |
