tbh, don't think it matters that much, the buying has been amazing given GDP\s history, also we have had a clearout of all the weak longs who bought in the 6\s and 7\s as well- so little above the market for sale and hopefully Martin trying to pick up some more as well.

I am hoping that who ever it is, has accelerated the selling with a view to being out by 1630 today.

Looks like we had a forced sell over the last few days, hopefully today's volume has cleared them out.

buying pressure is relentless today - should have moved much higher - will snap back to 6's once this seller is finally cleared.

Could the 11.58% be something to do with the BEE, or a portion of their holding?

Yes - Ian does have a service contract which is terminable by either Ian or the company giving three months notice -if i recall.

when ian stopped being CEO when Gerard took over, there wasn't a place for him to go - he previous CFO role had gone - I expected him to leave, however, he got an executive director role with no apparent or discernible responsibilities.

it has always made me wonder how he has stayed on and I suspect that Martin will want to address this point, if he can.

It 11.58% and thanks Sea for the definition which means that someone that is connected to a director holds them. Why else is Ian kept on at GDPFailed as FD failed as CEO yet he get over £150k what gold does he have why have we not let go? I have always suspected Ian holds these indirectly which keeps him in a job I think we could save £150 on the bottom line

From memory it is 8%. I think it is held by discretionary clients. Wasn't it originally Hargrave/Hale or some such like?

i think shareholder is referring to the 11.58% as shown on the website as not in public hands.

definition...

For the purposes of LR 6.14.1R and LR 6.14.2R, shares are not held in public hands if they are:

(1) held, directly or indirectly by:
(a) a director of the applicant or of any of its subsidiary undertakings; or
(b) a person connected with a director of the applicant or of any of its subsidiary undertakings; or
(c) the trustees of any employees’ share scheme or pension fund established for the benefit of any directors and employees of the applicant and its subsidiary undertakings; or
(d) any person who under any agreement has a right to nominate a person to the board of directors of the applicant; or
(e) any person or persons in the same group or persons acting in concert who have an interest in 5% or more of the shares of the relevant class;
(2) subject to a lock-up period of more than 180 calendar days.

I have no doubt missed something but what is this 11%?

IMV the most likely seller is Cannacord and I suspect for reasons unassociated with GDP.

Shill just buy more GDP this could be the best one sided bet you will ever have as a take over would push the price up

Thanks seaI believe the 11percent is held in trust so it could be in someone else name but still have a benefit to IanThen my question is how does this effect GDP share price. What if the trust wants to now sell the 11percent how is this done. Etc etc
shareholder7

Sea I always wondered about the 11percent that is not traded and how this does or does not effect the share price. I always thought that Ian V owns these in trust and it might explain why he is paid £150k a year.
