Well done Enami good to take profits after such a good run. I wish you well in the future - may be buy back in if the price drops to £12ish again?

I have sold out completely today for the first time in ages. Did sell my trading stake on the spike up on 12 March. A good dividend stock but I need some cash elsewhere and my capital gain is much more than my dividend. Overall CGT payment threshhold for this tax year not quite reached. Got 1522 so happy.

At least trt was honest, bunnji. I'm too busy to even think about what I might switch to, so I'm holding for the dividend! (teh - hee!)

But with the euro zone crisis about to kick off again for me it's wise to take profits.

I think you have a point TRT. GOG goes EX dividend tomorrow or Wednesday and that will be a further 25.5p drop in the share price so yes it could trigger a sell off after that, especially if Cyprus turmoil escalates to the wider Europe. As you say IMHO

My goodness I thought I would never say this but I have top sliced this morning and taken some profit. Got to admit Cyprus issue could send markets down quite considerably. IMHO

I accept we could see a fall in the share price from here due to the Cyprus issue and markets are very nervous, time will tell.

trt - there's your £15! Every day is a new 12 month high. Sold my Weir Group last week for £24.22 which was also a 12 month high, it has gone higher but has come back a little. GOG is different for me, because it pays a decent dividend and I regard it as a safe hold. Won't be buying it for the 2012-13 ISA though, because it doesn't represent great value and there are other value buys out there.

We ended at £15.11 mid price. Big buy of 36,154 shares at £15.11 showing at the end of trading so bodes well for Monday morning. Could see a quick move upwards from the start.

Thank you for your comments Keran. I think we could go to £15.10+ before the close today as investors want to get on board to collect the dividend. So a nice close to the week.

Yes I have seen those broker upgrades TRT they are pleasing to see. Good chance today to top up and get the Interim dividend at 25.50p. Your enthusiasm is good to see although you seem to be getting a bit of stick from others at the moment. I wouldn't worry its good to see investors passionate about their investments. As you say I am sure we will soon reach that £16 level and its good to know we get a hefty dividend payout along the way.

If wont rise back to the pre placing price until the other 10% is offloaded. There is effectively a share overhang. Best to stay clear of NEX

on the contrary Elliott bought 20% to force a corporate action They failed because the business sorted itself out They placed 10% last week in firm hands so the price should rise back to the pre placing price You need to study the detail a bit more
