07/12/2000 00:12 | Lead mm WINS upgrades to new price at 24p-27p | mungoa
06/12/2000 22:27 | I don't know if the decision has been made but I know there was a board meeting yesterday (Tuesday). | eastleach
06/12/2000 22:05 | Judging from what you lot have said this John Hemming is the one who orignally founded the Phoenix bid that ended up buying Rover earlier this year. He certainly came across as very sharp in the newspapers as I recollect. My plan is to hold on to these for a while, as someone says above I hope a little money might turn into a fair amount more. I see from the iii board that there is speculation that Hemming will be added to the board of GHG. Does anyone know if this decision has been made and if so when we will know about it? How much of a bearing would you expect it to have on the shareprice? Sorry to ask all these questions but you lot seem to know so much and I am newish to this game (hey flattery gets you everywhere) | millytheminx
06/12/2000 21:02 | So, we now have : *inside view from a big investor *big buys from another large investor, or more probably directors (and this coming after their review at the Board meeting yesterday) *growing momentum *good prospects on the TA *results out this month *Price targets set by John Hemmings after his analysis *Relatively short timescales | mungoa
06/12/2000 20:58 | Milly et al The great traders and investors of this (actually last) century will all tell you....growth of your investment pot takes time. But care during that time ensures fewer mistakes. .....and we all make mistakes. One often cited, is to close winning investments too soon, and conversely to hold onto losers. Impatience coupled with greed usually kills private investors. John Hemmings, as an example of a winning investor, has researched this stock carefully. Probably fair to say.....mucu much more carefully than most. He has issued his price targets, and the timescales are not too long. All of us can draw our own conclusions. | mungoa
06/12/2000 19:11 | Could be fun tomorrow, but unfortunately I have to be away most of the day! Wonder if the price will gap up in the morning? | adipaul
06/12/2000 19:07 | John Hemming posts as value chaser on the iii bb. He also posts as bigjohn on Etrade. He is the LibDem councillor for Birmingham. He owns a company called JHC, and I believe he has his fingers in a couple of other pies. Sorry, but don't know about the Rover bid. I think you could have a lot more money to spend soon! Regards, Paul. | adipaul
06/12/2000 18:28 | Sadly I don't have as much to spend as some of you but I have put a (for me) substansial sum into GHG and was lucky enough to get in at 15 1/2 pence. John Hemming appears to be an interesting man. What do people know about him? Is this the same John Hemming who was involved in the Phoenix Bid for Rover earlier this year? | millytheminx
06/12/2000 18:01 | Another buy just shown up.......Wow I am glad I bought some more... | boyblue
06/12/2000 17:37 | buys after the board are good sign and charts look good too | biomax
06/12/2000 17:31 | Perhaps some of the directors have bought shares after the board meeting yesterday. Remeber John Hemming said that most of the (new?) directors did not hold. Regards, Paul | adipaul
06/12/2000 17:04 | yup Just checked on other sites Those 500,000 trades at 3.50'ish are buys.....hence sudden jump at that point. But what is important is that this just confirms position of stock as undervalued and oversold. Remember Hemmings views on price over the coming weeks and months ! | mungoa
06/12/2000 16:46 | Look at the time of the trades they are all buys!!!!IMHO There must be some news soon,,,,,,,,,,, | boyblue
06/12/2000 16:43 | Hmm, yeah you could be right. What do you reckon to the 2 200,000 ? trades, they look like sells but I don't want to believe that they are. | dave46
06/12/2000 16:35 | Judging by mm's actions......that is a BUY....notice it is marked as a T...a late. If it had been a sell.....price would have floored. | mungoa
06/12/2000 16:33 | Now that is strange! A massive sell right at the end of the day on a share that has risen 20% for no reason. Hmm, someone, somehow, could have made a nice £10,000 extra today! Oh well I am sure we will find out why it has risen after every one else knows! Dave | dave46
06/12/2000 16:13 | Nothing on Level 2....just steep rises Must be large late trades that we will see later.....or......wh So....... Bit sus....... hugely undervalued and oversold stock board meets possible appointment of John Hemmings stock rockets 19% in four hours next day (today)on no news yet | mungoa
06/12/2000 15:59 | Mungoa....Hi.....Is there anthing going on at level 2 to explain the increase...not that I am complaining..... | boyblue
06/12/2000 15:41 | Do you think the 12% increase is solely to do with the accounts coming out? Do we not know an exact date? Dave | dave46
06/12/2000 14:13 | I note that Optimist on the Pbb says that "last years accounts were issued on 6th Dec 1999" We know they are due out in Dec anyway, so perhaps we will hear good news of them soon | mungoa
06/12/2000 14:10 | Board met yesterday ! | mungoa
06/12/2000 13:33 | Last years accounts were issued on 6th Dec 1999 Optimist | optimist |
