27/11/2000 13:12 | Benn watching this since this thread came to my attention, this is the only red in my watch list today. Any thoughts on todays drop. (ADIPaul, i,m not trying to gloat, just trying to get a feel for this one) | toogood
27/11/2000 11:44 | At the end of the day, from a chart perspective, this was a good buy. We may see a dip?...or flat?..and one can choose ones exit point, but there is stong upside. Someone dumped 200,000 shares this morning in two packets at the 36.5 resistance mark, which pulled the price back. Maybe he's getting some cash for his lunch tomorrow.....hope its worth it. Speaking of lunch I'm starving.... Regards to all | mungoa
27/11/2000 11:36 | He also invested in Blake's clothing. His email, phone number, and office addresses are publicly given out. He is also the LibDem councillor in Brum. Therefore, I would say, that he is putting his reputation on the line. I was in (profitably) IEH also but the risk of going bust was known well before it happened. Of course he will be enthusiastic, to the extent of applying to join the board. | adipaul
27/11/2000 10:42 | Understand your enthusiasm after reading Mr Hemmings comments. However, do you really think he would be posting negative comments about the company following his approx £500k worth of share buying. I think not and be careful with this. I remember IEH earlier this year (now in receivorship) | rhodesc
27/11/2000 10:29 | Thanks for bringing this to my attn., Mungoa. Jumped on board this morning after checking out the story. Paul. | adipaul
27/11/2000 10:24 | Just bought in this morning after researching over the w/end. Although I'm not that keen on the iii bulletin boards, this one stands out a mile because of "value chaser's" (Mr. John A M Hemmings, the largest individual shareholder) contributions. He also contributes to the Etrade bb under the name of "bigjohn" Good Luck All, Paul. | adipaul
27/11/2000 08:55 | Now up 5.71% Suspect we may see late trades showing later, as twice the price has moved up on no apparent buy.....as was the pattern on Friday. Not that we mind or anything !! | mungoa

27/11/2000 07:55 | Excellant Solader......thanks for this. Now if Hemming has got the figures right and we see this share climb 75% this week, that will be fantastic.. ....half that would be fantastic.. | mungoa
26/11/2000 22:53 | Sorry guys, new to this and I wanted to ask about the iii bb that keeps getting mentioned. Can someone point me in the right direction. Thanks. | hugh711
26/11/2000 19:16 | I believe the results are out "in December". Does anyone know when in December? | mungoa

25/11/2000 00:36 | This is only my speculation but has anyone noticed this quote:-"Acquisitions will be concentrated upon our Hygiene and Security services in Europe and North America and on the continued development of our Conferencing business in UK and its expansion intoContinental Europe."From the Rentokil trading statement on Wednesday I see GHG as a good small company that has suffered recently from poor management. One of Rentokil's strenghths is the ability to impose their management structure and controls on smaller companies enabling them to grow. RTO also has plenty of cash. Could be a good fit.Optimist | optimist
24/11/2000 16:25 | I bought 19,000 of gearhouse this morning to top up on the 10,000 I bought yesterday, I'm going to stay in with this one, it's got to be heading up next week and I don't want to miss the possibility of the same kind of increase that we've had this week.(DYOR) All the news points North. Good luck everybody! | lickyaardvark

24/11/2000 10:49 | A view on possible target prices: "Gearhouse is a £70m turnover company in a hi-tech services sector. Its debts have gone down since the half year accounts, we don't know how far. There is a brokers note from Brewin Dolphin that has figures of 23m, there is likely to be some leasing debt on top of that although I don't know the precise figures. Lets say the debt is £30m in total. Lets say that without debt the company would be worth £50m (not £70m because not everything is sorted out although most things are), a company in this sector could easily have a market cap in excess of its turnover on either PE or good margins. That would give a valuation of £20m (ie £1 per share - which is still low). However, the company still needs to clarify a few things - ie its last profit warning. Until those things are clarified I would not see the price exceeding 60p. " courtesy of Value Chaser | mungoa
