05/12/2000 15:17 | Excellent news!!! | boyblue
05/12/2000 13:52 | Well....it may interest you to note, I asked Auction Man this morning was this his trade of 100,000 going through at 24.5p ......he said NO ! not yet. If you recall he wants a bargain of around 23.5p (nice if can get that....I couldn't) . He saw this trade though as a real vote of confidence from another person waiting on the sideline. | mungoa
05/12/2000 13:29 | Looks like Action man was able to complete his 100,000 purchase......Good Luck Action Man................. | boyblue
04/12/2000 09:01 | Appraisal from a poster called Auction Man on another bb: "BUYING UNDER VALUED SHARES-in my opinion the only current "lower risk" high gain area. The risk is in relation to the reason for the fall and its possible implications, the gain is in relation to the previous share price and where the implications may take it. GHG fits this criteria perfectly. To fall from 90p to 20p {i dont include below 20p as it was for such a short timespan and volume, excluding mr hemmings deal} was an over reaction. The implications-going bust- I dont think so ,like mr hemming {whos knowledge and £500,000 input strengthens my belief}and even in this senario a takeover in my opinion of 50p-100p possible ie 100-400% upside. New banking facilities-50p-75p=1 | mungoa
01/12/2000 14:30 | I think Clifford Speare sumed it up well when he said: "This is the closest thing you can get to insider information" Hope this helps. | mungoa
01/12/2000 14:26 | uhhhh.....if you read the iii thread he gives his email and link to his website etc etc etc. Yes I know this can be mirrored. But there have been no denials. Usefully he has been very open about progress with the Board...though that may have to be curtailed if he joins next week. | mungoa
01/12/2000 14:21 | mungoa - how do you know this is from John Hemmings ? It was posted by valuechaser. march | march
01/12/2000 14:00 | From John Hemmings @ 1.50pm on iii.....note statement again re not selling shares.i "I would like to be on the board because I think I can help. I would like to protect my own interest of course as well, but in doing so I would protect also the interests of others. That, of course, includes the staff, the customers, the suppliers and the community as a whole. I do think it is a good idea for directors to hold shares. Not all of the Gearhouse Directors hold shares in the company. Ramping stock can only work if you have a liquid holding. I don't have a liquid holding. In fact I think, although officially I am not an insider, I probably know too much about the company now to allow me to trade at all." courtesy of iii (its all they are good for !) | mungoa

01/12/2000 13:27 | This time he's in for about £485,000. What will that turn into? | adipaul
01/12/2000 11:28 | From Auction Man (he of the pending 100,000 share purchase), today on iii : "When Mr hemming was in for his first 650k holding it was a pure stock play and caution would be the game, however the extra 2 mill confirms his long term plans and confidence in the stock. No trader in his right mind would take on this bulk as a short term play as a quick get out is impossible. This is a guy who turned a single £15000 trade into £700,000 in a 12 month period and now says GHG may become his best deal ever!!!,now that is confidence." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ | mungoa

01/12/2000 00:42 | Apparently that onle sell earlier on of 10,000 was actually a buy. A chap on iii warned he was going to buy, and is now proudly saying he managed to buy at 23p. So it's all buys today then. Not that that really matters too much over the next few days as this share stabilises. | mungoa
30/11/2000 16:55 | Purchaser goes by the name of Auction Man. Here is his final post on iii GHG bb a little while ago: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "best deal i can get is 24.5 for 100k. Raised my limit buy to 23.5 to see if late trade possible [dont think so though]. Would buy extra 100-200k if i could steal them. Sitting on 240k @.26 ave . Holding now and will buy into rises once initial 240k starts into profit.Good luck all! PS i see john hemming posts on E trade he will know next week if he will become a director ! " ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ courtesy of iii, and Auction Man posting on GHG bb | mungoa
30/11/2000 16:17 | BB Unable to go through at 23p ....as Schwab Limit Team could not negotiate it. Its pending at 23.5p but mm's reluctant to offer that bargain. May go through at end of play. Will keep you posted | mungoa
30/11/2000 16:08 | How is that order progressing.......Wi | boyblue
30/11/2000 13:57 | There is a buy order of 100,000 shares pending at the moment. Whenever it goes through it will probably not be at the ask price ....so dont be surprised when it looks like a sell. It isn't. Hope this helps. | mungoa
30/11/2000 10:58 | Folks......in passing.... Two or three people in the advfn stock picker competition to choose the stock most likely to have the largets gain in Dec, three or four have so far said they believe GHG will show the largest gains in Dec. Nice thought ! | mungoa
30/11/2000 10:03 | From iii GHG bb this morning:.......... " Well, vol. has now dropped off. So too did the sellers by lunch time yesterday. Obviously as the sell price moves slowly up one could see various sellers at each stage (those with big losses who are nervous, out of time (T's), those who bought at the bottom/are buying along the way , or holders from before the 35p peak who want out). However...with perhaps positive news, and some steadying of the price, handsome progressive gains should occur. Value Chaser/John Hemmings outlines his belief in the co 's fundamentals and upside on the price. Obviously as you point out this will take more than a couple of days, but not too long either. Anyway, you all know this already. " ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ taken from iii GHG bb this morning.......just as a view point as its a bit quiet here ! | mungoa
30/11/2000 00:45 | Interesting point made by a CliffordSpeare on another site's bb: " I think the market views it positively, both as a gain for GHG if John Hemmings joins, and also positive that he is closely involved now with the company. His restating of his view of Strong Buy is as close as you can get to insider "Buy" information. We wish him well. Obviously others feel this is very positive as well, as buys started to go through shortly after John posted his message. " | mungoa
29/11/2000 11:35 | jints....that would be nice to see. Yes Cranes sell HAS occurred and forced/started the heavy drop on Monday that gathered pace as all others piled out...hardly surprising after 100+% gains in a week. Anyone here using etrade bb......I'm not but I hear there is a discussion going on re GHG and it might be useful to know what the reaction is like (if they are aware of it yet) to John Hemmings possible board appointment. Grateful for any info posted. :O) | mungoa
29/11/2000 11:30 | James everson cranes disposal of his shares was the reason for mondays drop. These shares are otherwise very scarce and shall soar now at any hint of positive news. The mm's know this and todays drop is pure manipulation on a mear 80000 volume to mop up stock pre a massive rise even more than last weeks gains! | jints
29/11/2000 11:16 | Well I can see WINS the lead mm thinks its good news !! | mungoa
29/11/2000 11:04 | From John Hemmings on iii bb at 10.30 am. Be interested to hear peoples views on this: "There is a board meeting to make a decision as to whether or not I become a director following the meeting yesterday. I have only just found the time to look at the BBS and will not be looking at it again for at least 8 hours." He reiterates he rates the share as a "Strong Buy" following whatever he may have discovered at his meeting. Any ideas on the impact this will have folks? | mungoa |
