Wonder when the MMs plan to let the GEMD share price rise? Seems very manipulated to suit themselves and the chart regardless of trades to me.

I think GEMD has been manipulated down to fill a gap in the chart at this sort of level from the rise up earlier this year and from the rapid fall when covid struck. Could be wrong but support seems good at 60p and hopefully the price will rise to nearer 70p before the 6 month update. GLA holders.

Watch there now be a steady stream of buys and strengthening share price on the run up to the update being released (imo). Looks like MMs were flushing out weak holders at the 60p level prior to the next leg up.

Also maybe we were meant to sell here and buy PDL… for the impatient ones… Was it not about the same time when GEMD started to go down and PDL went up… It just occurred to me such a thing, but we can’t know.

Yep, didn't think we'd see sub 60p in view of how diamond market appears to have rebounded in recent months.....keeping some powder dry in case of any further weakness but didn't time my purchases last week very well so far!....doh!

All we can do is just keep guessing but this is a solid company. Even so it has moments in its life like this. Think of its share price in the 20s… My guess is this is just a vicious shorting, nothing more than that. But we will see in the future, not too distant.

Anyone any thought on what's going on with the GEMD sp, day on day drop, like MMs are walking it back. Late reported trades from the day before too (likely sells). Something going on, either big holder selling, shorting or market has wind of something.

This is an old presentation by GEMD but at 3.4mins they say that the "20 to 60 carat range of diamonds is where the money is made" and that the 100 carat plus diamonds are nice but just ones to make the headlines for the news. So based on this the lack of large stone announcements may not be an issue in the 1st half.https://youtu.be/sUdUaSx98io
