Yet another 100p buy reiteration by house broker Liberum on GEMD today, that's 4 in the last few months. Yet the share price keeps sliding? Surely their clients would be piling in at this price if they were confident in the price target or anything anywhere near, double bagger and more..

Re the Ghagoo sale, are you aware that Vast is up the creek without a paddle nor does it have a pot to pee in. Personally I doubt that the deal will go ahead unless someone else steps in to fund it.

Not sure i would pay too much attention to him, doesn't really look like he knows what he's doing IMO. Tell me if/when he finishes and i might start buying some.

For those still intending holding don't forget the two big tenders in Antwerp being held at present and a couple early in 2022. This quarter could well be impressive cash in hand and dollers per carat etc with the ever rising diamond prices.

A holder that posts on the LSE board is selling out his stake due to frustration with the BoD. He's sold 150k since Friday so would account for a large proportion of the selks and the drop in share price

Demand is strong for gem quality diamonds in the emerging markets and in the US. Meanwhile supply is at best static with closures in Australia and production problems in Siberia among other problems. The long-term future looks strong as more people enter the middle class and want the things that most European and American consumers buy. Who would have thought that a pandemic would be positive for the diamond traders? As we re-emerge from the shadow of the pandemic we believe that the middle market of the industry (traders and cutters) is in the best shape for many years. Stocks are low, liquidity is good, prices are going up and demand for both rough and polished is very strong. The post-Covid years should see very strong diamond acquisition and gifting. We expect good times ahead for the industry."

The bod are useless for info except when they do the quarterly updates, would be useful after the tenders are completed for a summary of how they went and prices achieved etc

GEMD Large stone tender in Antwerp starts tomorrow for 10 days. Then a small stone sale there until the 16th. With rough prices continuing to rise strongly the prices achieved should be very good. Could be a bumper quarter imo.

The "market" seemed adamant that the price was going to test the 50p level. Let's hope it hold solid, if so and is backed up with buying and more large stones it should be a major positive for a good move North again

House broker Liberum again re iterated their 100p "buy" price target on GEMD yesterday, let's hope they can get some clients interested
