The past 15 years has produced 16 cents per share in dividends, hopefully it does a bit better than that over the next 15 years.

But the mine has always been profitable and not finishing any time soon… It all goes back to the Board! That said, either the market is right which would mean that they are thieves (which can’t be the case), or trying to make PI sell shares…

This is a mine with a limited life span. It's only useful if it pays out a lot of cash dividends before the mine is exhausted. Last year we got a pitifully small dividend despite the "excellent" results. The market is probably expecting that to happen again this time.

If the share price keeps dropping it will, am holding in the hope the market finally turns in GEMDs favour in 2022 and it gets a re-rate, certainly appears plenty going for the company this year on all known info...

Still holding this one as I do believe it'll get a bid at some point. Diamond prices are buoyant.

The diamond market flying but for whatever reason the GEMD share price continues to go the wrong way....similar last year at Q4 update then rose on full year results a few weeks later though. Diamond prices up more than 10% since last year though...big difference...SP crazy...

Mostly sellers this morning. That has me slightly confused. Update appeared to clear up a number of concerns and the underlying diamond price continues to be very strong. Bizarre.

Def a buy and hold for 2022, cant see why you would want to sell GEMD on the update news, last year the shares traded flat on the Q4 figures then rose strongly on full year results in March, when the divi was announced. Could be similar this year. Very strong diamond market which is continuing to strengthen in 2022. GL all holders.

From $11 mill debt to $20 mill cash in a quarter is outstanding and shows the impact of rising diamond prices. Think I'll keep these shares along with my PDL ones.

Looks great to me too. Very solid Q4 as expected and great increase in $ per carat prices. Going into this year they are very well placed! $20+ million cash and no debt, ever increasing diamond prices, Ghaghoo sale still on just delayed, just need a few more whoppers digging up this year, they did those figures on a low 100 carat + year, only 6, due a much better 2022 in that regard.

Very low key day for GEMD pre Q4 update, should be a good set of figures but the detail will be when the full results get published in March. Hopefully another divi announcement...

Lack of large stones in the last 12 months might be a negative but the quarterly update financially should read well. The bread and butter stones of 10 to 60 carats will have done well, plus the smaller stuff. If they do resume finding a dozen 100 carat stone a year in 2022 it should be going much higher than this

By the looks of it, the market not expecting much on Tuesday. Going by other company results and the big rise in diamond prices, I'm expecting a stupendous update.
