Hi guys, is there anything fundamentally wrong here or is it just out of fashion for the present...thanks B

see Napoleon's post 19347. I'd add that the volatility of the US market is scary - it can go up 5-10% in a day and still end 5-10% below its opening price by the end of the day. Certainly not for the faint hearted, and i can't say i'm really enjoying it at the moment!
There are no signs that there is anything fundamentally wrong, from what i can see. Smurfit, his family and pals all have a lot of 'skin in the game' and there's plenty of $$$ in the bank The company is now a bigger entity than when it was launched in the US, especially with the acquisition of Coolbet ,which takes GAN into a whole new ball park. Napoleon has pointed out about the economic problems which have hit tech stocks and the NASDAQ hard.
There is a constant flow of good news surrounding the US betting sector - more states taking steps to legalise gambling, gambling coming on stream in NY and Canada, huge takes in states which have already opened up etc etc
The recent news of more deals into increase content can surely only be beneficial.
As someone else said, it's hard, but you've just got to hunker down and not check it every minute, hour, day like our Yank chums on Stocktwits seem to do!
There are 3 or 4 provisos however.
My main beef is GAN's propensity to over promise and under deliver.A change of tack to cautious comment and subsequent over delivery would be most welcome.
The lack of profit is a serious drag, and i fear these new deals will result in yet another 'jam tomorrow' set of quarterly figures, which is the last thing they need.
They appointed new PR people a while ago, but i've yet to see any real improvement in that regard
lastly they committed $5 million to share buy backs/ purchases in order to shore up the share price, and thereby make a nice little profit. I've yet to see this in action
To finish, i still believe, but by God, do GAN make it difficult. I'm no expert btw, so hopefully ore knowledgable posters will be able to give you a much more well informed view than 1. Good luck - lets hope it all works out in the end!

'Getting quoted on Nasdaq is supposed to be an improvement' - it was for a year up to May 21 when it was $17, double the launch price.

It's what's happened since then that has been dire.

fizzypop 17Jan'22 - 19333 LOL!

I still have most of mine & know how you feel.
Getting quoted on Nasdaq is supposed to be an improvement - BAH!
I also have too many DDDD....

GAN started by having an unforeseen tax hit on directors' shares just after floating,
but I don't see why GAN paid for it instead of the directors. Was that really
just a "mistake"?
Then the figures were uninspiring.
Then Coolbet got caught by the punters winning too much, like all other bookies.
Then Nasdaq hit most tech stocks hard - that's us again,
& also blew the froth off gaming stocks - us again!
Now Wall Street is weak, tho' things could improve.

That is a lot of sh1t to get hit with as a new entrant.
IMO the Smurf should feel suitably chastised along with the rest of us,
& carry on building a long term business.
Buys like Silverback suggest they are not thru' yet.
The online gaming sector is still in full expansion in the US,
so I'll grin and bear, however pi55ed off, it for a while longer...
$7 last quoted price. BAH!

Like you, I'm sore at not selling at $30...

I always think that inflation would boost the stock market. After all, as prices rise, earnings rise, it's just a spiral really.

I've still got most of my original holding and have been adding piecemeal as GAN's price as dropped. I plan to add even more if the downtrend continues.

The way I look at it is, how many shares are there out there that could easily be 3 times its current price this time next year and only at worst half its current price. As a punt that seems good odds to me.

Anyone still holding here apart from me Fest mylands rivaldo?
This seems to be declining to oblivion. With hindsight, like others no doubt, I should have sold up months ago. I do not need john09 to remind me what a twerp I am for I have surely suffered financially but I have already flagelated myself.

£1.35 in old money

What are you holding for? Thingy will just take it private and have a nice story about why or itll get quietly swallowed into another player at market price and again he will have a nice story about it

Going from bad to worse.I keep thinking to pile in at these levels, for a bounce, but it slips ever further.I find it hard to believe there is so little value in this.
