Smurfit used the phrase - 'substantial incremental revenues' - what that effectively means is huge leverage

look at precise definition below

'The amount of profit associated with how many products where manufactured for one production unit. If the product costs $2 to produce and 50 products were completed, then $100 will be considered a profit.'

-

A fixed CAPEX outlay with revenues and profits way in excess of that - a slingshot in earnings as we move forward

It's a low cost, higher revenue, higher margin operation -

well, that's my understanding of it anyway..the caveat being I'm not that bright and there's plenty of space between mi' lugholes

The best way to make real money imo on companies-not 'shares' you believe in.

Exactly my point, bb. You have to be a mug to either trade these, or as a PI hope to make a short term profit and hope to get back in cheaper later. As I see it MMs using opportunity to flush out as many PIs as possible over last couple of days because they know there will be volume buyers sooner or later watching this. Not many shares around, even if a few of the recent placed shares are finding their way onto the market now.

Let's not beat about the bush - the opening up of US gaming market is the same seismic event to that Industry, as the Internet, online shopping, mobile phone explosion and social media was to technology.

If you truly believe that ,then get in, stay in and be patient. Let it evolve and the rewards should follow.

As I said yesterday-mug PIs selling their few shares will get screwed by the mms-and deservedly so. SC ruling a game changer and market aware of this with volume buyers having to pay a premium.

focus on the fundamentals

GAN stock is illiquid - the price moves are volatile as a result - up and indeed down

Jon, I really think this is as close to a one way stock as you are likely to find now the legislation is changing and the financing is out of the way.

All my shares are held in a SIPP and I cant touch for at least 6 years - so this is plenty of time to kickback, let GAN do its thing and build on weakness.

Whats the point selling now? If you were gonna sell then you should have done that 70p+?

The Yanks like what they see enough to sink £7.5m in....that's good enough for me and I bet they found a lot more about whats going on with GAN then we ever will.

What I now like about GAN is this; if it goes up - great - make a fortune. If it goes down - great - buy more cheap - wait a bit, make a fortune.

GAN-Do Attitude: Software Company Raises $10m For US Casino Push
May 22, 2018
Federal·New Jersey·News·Pennsylvania

by Martin Derbyshire

International internet gambling software developer and content supplier GAN is making some aggressive moves in the US online and sports gambling markets, following last week’s US Supreme Court decision to lift the federal ban on sports betting.

GAN issued a press release Monday saying it has raised approximately $10 million (£7,500,000) through the sale of Subscription Shares and will use the cash to expand its reach in the United States.

GAN CEO Dermot Smurfit said the capital will help the company take advantage of opportunities in states where online gambling and sports betting is either legal and regulated, or about to be:

“This strategic capital raising exercise positions GAN to consolidate its US market position and capture substantial incremental revenue opportunities available resulting from both Internet gaming and sports betting regulation in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and other US States expected to regulate Internet gambling in the near future.”

GAN eyes emerging US sports betting markets

The company will use the money to increase software engineering resources with an eye on better serving existing US clients and attracting new ones. Particularly those in sports gambling, anticipating a number of state sports betting markets will soon open up in the wake of last week’s Supreme Court decision.

Plus, it plans to pay back approximately $2.68 million (£2,001,483) in unsecured loan notes. That leaves the company debt free and capitalized to levels it believes are required to serve major US casino groups.

GAN has two regulated real money online gambling clients in New Jersey. This includes the Betfair online casino site, which operates under the Golden Nugget New Jersey online gambling license. Plus, it has an online casino site currently in development with Ocean Resort Casino. Ocean Resort Casino is the former Revel Atlantic City boardwalk casino and hotel property scheduled to open June 28.

It also provides social casino software for Parx Casino and Racing in Pennsylvania. In addition to holding an agreement with the casino to launch real-money online gambling together when the PA market opens up. PA lawmakers passed online gambling legislation in October 2017. The regulatory and licensing process is ongoing. The state’s first online gambling sites are likely to launch in the fourth quarter of 2018.

The GAN-SBTech sports betting solutions deal

In January 2018, GAN inked a deal with sports betting solutions and online betting software supplier SBTech to serve the US land-based casino industry together.

The plan is for SBTech to supply real money sports betting services to GAN’s US casino clients. Plus, SBTech’s sports betting solution is being integrated with GAN’s GameSTACK enterprise online gambling software platform.

GAN also has 14 casino operator clients using its social casino software in the US and internationally. Plus, it provides the software platform for The Chickasaw Nation of Oklahoma WinStar European online gambling site.

GAN also boasts another ten real-money regulated online gambling clients in Europe. Its US casino clients represent more than 70 land-based casino properties across the country.

Bought some more earlier but tried on the last drop but hesitated too long I think I was offered 66.6p! Anyway didn’t get anymore which was my fault, trying to accumulate around 35000 to hold into next year and see how the share price is performing then.

Hope this is another ASOS, if only I had bought 100,000 @ 9p in 2004 arrrhhh!
