Economic and geopolitical turmoil has sent shockwaves through the stock market's dividend landscape. The good news is that some stocks are well placed to withstand these problems - and it looks like Games Workshop (LON:GAW) might be one of them. With many dividends looking vulnerable over the past two years, income investors have been under pressure. Deceptively high yields have turned into traps and the promise of payout growth has vaporised in many cases..But look hard enough and there are some stocks that look well placed to ride out this chaos. With a checklist of key dividend measures you can be on the path to finding them. Here's a summary of why Games Workshop scores well against these tests... hTTps://www.stockopedia.com/articles/can-the-games-workshop-dividend-ride-out-economic-uncertainty-268407/

Actually, many brokers only provide limited products on shorting GAW. From IB broker, there is only a CFD product.

9.400 shares short / 32.8000.000 shares out = 0.029% of shares outstanding is short (?) it cannot be so low, must be a mistake.

Last year we had a Trading Update on 20 May

Chance of similar this year - A dividend is being paid on 13th May (bringing the total declared in FY22 to 235p (FY21 - 235p). I suspect we may get a further modest 20-25p dividend declared around the 20th along with an accompanying TS.

Put simply, in NZ you can't fly a drone over privately owned property without the owners consent. Estate Agents often use drones for photos or videos - they must ask permission if the drone will fly above neighbouring private property. That can be a home or a business.

Oops, I meant to post the UK link. As you can see, the NZ laws are very simple and easy to interpret. The UK laws are highly subjective and based on an interpretation of the Risk in each use of a drone. https://www.nottinghamshire.police.uk/advice/drone-law-uk

@nod that what you are sharing is for NZ. AFAIK the rules of trespassing and photographing in the UK, if what you see can be seen from the street, are very relaxed.

ConsentPart 101 requires operators to get the consent of property owners and people that they are flying over. I'd say it is neutral. I think the people from WH who interacted with were really friendly considering the circumstances. Retail workers seem to have patience that I often doubt I'd have if I were in their shoes. I am surprised you are able to fly a drone over someone's property and such low altitude. I understand that the airspace does not belong to GW, but if the drone is flown too close, I feel like it is a health & safety risk.

I would say it's neither positive nor negative. I can't imagine investors being influenced by this video, in the unlikely event that an investor would see it.I thought the guy on reception was a credit to GW.
