Company should now be able to promote a lot more. Blasting sorted, Funding sorted

Interesting CV for Mario Stifano - clearly wouldn't get involved if didn't see scale potential here.

Well done to Roland - through many challenges the company has survived and hopefully got to a big inflection point.

Yes, great timing. As production figures finally start to ramp up, then hopefully so should the share price At least we should now have a company that can start to realise the value that is in the ground at long last.

And they have sorted the financing out with a placing at about 17.25p by my calculation. So hardly a discount and it will be used to get to full production so I think this could be a placing where the price goes up. In addition the placees are tied in for 4 months. By that time hopefully they will be up to full production and everything will be looking rosy!

Onwards and upwards....

Hopefully we will get monthly production updates now. The single week ug processed at the end of March is promising. How much will be ug sourced and how quickly stockpile usage decreases will also be key.

Well, we seem to have some activity today which has moved the price.

I wonder if any good news is leaking out.

Or people just positioning themselves for the underground blasting?

Or some sort of deal is in the air?

But positive movement nevertheless on quite small volume.

Imagine the rerating that could occur if they can get their act together.

Hmmm, seems to be a little buying interest.

They firmed a bit last week, but they are well bid today.

Current price is 17p bid, 18p offered, yet the RSP indicates that for a size of 10,000+ shares, the real bid is 17.3p and offered, it is 19p.

Not explosive, but maybe the market is beginning to wake up to what could be the beginning of some decent gold extraction.

We have an announcement everyone.

Limited underground blasting has resumed, and they will produce more concentrate with 2 shifts in the mill rather than 3. Obviously as a result of higher grade ore being fed into the mill from underground operations.

This is a positive as it should start giving more confidence to both shareholders and potential investors.

And we have a little movement.

Touch price now at 16p - 18p.

But for a size of 10k or more, the real price is 17p - 18.99p.

Those pesky MMs eh?

Just checked again, there is no RNS today. Last RN|S was about formalising the blasting arrangements with the PSNI.

Well, we do have some interest it seems.

The shares are well bid in size, with the first 10k tranche of shares offered at 18.8p to buy. That's 1.8p above the touch price of 17p.

And the MMs will pay 16.6p for up to 10,500 shares on the sell side.

I wonder if the company are getting closer to doing some sort of deal which will allow us to start producing in decent amounts?

This LSE code : GAL should be 10p per share as it has massive debts in the company has - remember it did a 10:1 reconstruction to the shares last year as it was allowed to raise money if it was under Canadian Law 5 cents per share as this is duel listed on TSX and LSE - this the 10:1 share consolidation. Watch this space if they do a fund raise as it has no working capital as the Roland the Executive Chairman wants his money back yesterday £2.5M for him and rest to the Canadians that loan the funds....
