Thanks, just hard to believe it's not producing anything. I will give them a call this week and let you know if there are any changes coming.

Not sure if LinkedIn would give any clues - Should list folks who still say that they are working there.

mcbull,

They're down to three people on site now I've heard, as of 29th November- one admin and two general operatives (miners?). I cant imagine the redundant miners would 'wait about' for their jobs. Not very much activity around the site at all based on the most recent photos. Don't take my word for it though- why not give them a call and ask, their gates are always open, or if it's more convenient phone- +44 (0) 28 82241100

So does anybody know if the miners have left and gone on to other jobs?

Thanks DD, a great help.
peglis, I don't doubt you're right. But what that means for shareholders, I don't know.

laserbrain, if you're interested, my take on Melquart's original stake is in 3508 and Rambutan's follow-on comment in 3383.

Laserbrain, perhaps that's Melquarts intention. The falling share price will only make it easier.

Hmm, I note Melquart required a share consolidation to back up their conversion price. They stand a good chance of gaining control of the company. Not sure if this is a good or bad thing. Anyone?
Anyways, my search on Melquart came up blanks. Only hit was on Melqart. Any info out there?

This is northern ireland dont forget, our local government ministers have been paid for doing nothing for almost 3 years, Dalradian staff are currently on hold doing nothing- no planning permission, no drilling permits....
GAL are in the same boat they've laid off most of the workforce and two are now remaining apparently,

pelgis

why would they pay people for doing nothing?

when the police gets their act together GAL will re-hire everyone and re-start production.

Panagos.... really? I'd disagree. Surely production and ultimately income should be the priority.
But how will this be achieved with 2 staff at the site now?
