Yes TC mentioned that to me as well. So any acquiring company would get the gold in the ground for free!😂

All buys today which is a good sign, although the volume was low.

I remember a comment from Roland when he put an estimated value on the mill alone.

It was well north of the current mk cap ;¬)

I also had some from the old 5p region but the recent substantial averaging down and trading means I am at about break even now. So I can’t claim to be super clever in this case...but will make a nice profit if the company is indeed taken over!

Unfortunately my story is much nearer the second chart, Nobby. I happen to like Roland and have stayed loyal, but it hasn't paid off except as soap opera entertainment.

If the company is now taken over - and the approach has clearly not been rebuffed - it will be a miracle if the price reaches the 100 mark. Correction - make that 50.

Anyway, GAL is one of just two legacy holdings from the ancient past. Thankfully I made a much better (and more substantial) decision when Sandstorm was CAD4ish. Otherwise, I'm in physical metal.

A very good point...but since my recent buys started at the equivalent of 7.35p and upwards, I am looking at the short term graph principally.

However, the long term graph shows the value. Yes I know there has been dilution along the way but the amount of confirmed gold in the ground has been increased and they are much closer to getting a lot of it out! So why is the price at such a low level....

Your view of this has to depend on your investing timescale:

Good news that processing has restarted especially considering the current gold price. And also interesting that DD is progressing; not sure why anyone would sell now!

Oh dear I see the troll has turned up here too. I recommend everybody filters him like I have because he really is a troll of the worst kind. He lies, deceives and posts absolutely awful price predictions. Nothing useful ever comes of discourse with him so the filter button is your friend!

Why are there so many small trades on this stock? A lot of them are below £100 in value so who on earth is buying (mostly) and selling such small amounts? Very strange...

At some point the MMs will have to cut their book and there will be a sudden leap in the price. The initiation of that will be when someone bites the bullet and pays 21 or 22p for a chunk of stock I suspect.

Up 6% on £500 worth of shares bought.

I don't think there is a buy order, the MMs just have zero stock and there are no sellers!

'Difficult to buy now'. More like impossible to buy in any volume! As I said last week I was quoted 20p when the offer price was 14p....
