£2 Million to cover vehicles....?
Last time I checked an AS330 Puma cost over £5mil...
I've seen 2 of these used simultaneously on smaller quarry blasts in NI

£10 million a year to police - it’s not even close to realistic.
Say you need 36 police full time to provide 24 hour coverage or you even build a police station there it’s nowhere close. Granted the police deserve better pay than they get but even if we assume 36 x £50,000 per year whish is probably excessive plus another say £2 million upfront to cover vehicles, training etc you are nowhere near to £10m per year. There is going to be change out of £200,000 a month that’s for sure and with the deposit at Dalradian being an absolute corker they can absorb that easily! It’s going to happen Pelgis the resistance is futile!

"Further to its announcement on 22 November 2019, the Company confirms that it has appointed Whitman Howard to advise on strategic alternatives available to it, which may include a sale, joint venture, partnership or other options."

So Roland is readying to throw in the towel? All of those options augur bigger muscle behind mine expansion, but probably without Roland in charge.

My consolation would be knowing that poetic justice had been served on despicable NIMBY hypocrite pelgis who likely has gold on his ring finger, and clearly uses a computer -

But I guess it's OK if the gold comes from areas with brown people. What a ghastly man.

By 'positive' they mean, less negative than previously...
A start i guess, but the money for the explosives escort still needs to be found.
Previous estimates for full production at Curraghinalt were upto £8million per year, and that was 20 years ago.

In the absence of any corporate activity, a breakthrough with the police would clear the path a bit. Not sure what Melqart are up to but they've kind of anchored the share price with that convertible. They would probably need to be involved in any corporate deal to protect their interests.

Yes there's got to be some interest in this if the politics can sort itself out. Now is the time to strike. Gold has good prospects, when other stores of wealth look increasingly shaky.

Much more positive RNS. May get some lift on the share price at last.

just came across this on another gold miner share chat!

“I recently bailed out of Bidstack with a £10K loss (aim) and have another dog ORM with the same again”

Like I said earlier - too good to be true and lot of people burned!

Ego is a very bad thing for the egoist. A win of someone is not necessarily a loss for another. But narrowmindedness and politics some times prevail.

Is that song by Galantis about Galantas - you're like Gold Dust! That's about all there is right now Gold Dust. Apparently money too is like Gold Dust in NI right now, the begging bowls are out, all the while the Gold just sits there.

Melqart could be on to a winner here, and if not too greedy maybe others. I think they need a winner, not sure if 2019 was too good for them.

...and while you're at get that bridge built! We'll call it the Irish Rainbow, since there's the big pot of gold at the end of it.

Looks like BoJo's off to NI. Let's hope he says, no way are you getting any cash while you have all that gold stuck in the ground. I'd be a fool to give anyone with stacks and stacks of gold any money! Just dig it up and start paying the bills.

Could be Bill Donnelly's son, Panagos. Maybe explains Goldminer2020's 50:50 call. These NIMBY guys need to get a job. Someone will eventually mine this deposit along with DAL. Donnellys have no clue who is really behind Orion et al - These are Trillionaires. Gold in the NI ground is already treated as reserves in their global book. It's just matter of time. Nobody is going to your bed and breakfast. Why did u spend so much money on improvements to your B&B in the first place? You're beside a gold mine that was in operation for a long time.
