18/5/2021 09:31 | I can only get a quote to buy 500 shares online. Sadly A J Bell don't let me do a limit order on GAL so unfortunately I can't buy any. I was looking to buy 10k..... | nobbygnome
18/5/2021 09:14 | --->ROBHAMMERS What do you base your analysis on exactly? Regards, THE COUNT! | the count
18/5/2021 08:19 | Feels like today may be the day Nobby. ES and MG are quite heavy-weight with a following. I am sure that when TSX opens there will be some decent buying over there. | panagos
18/5/2021 08:08 | The chart does indeed look very encouraging. The price needs to get and hold above 30p but if that happens, a rerate looks very likely. | nobbygnome
18/5/2021 08:05 | 75 million shares. Looks fully valued | robhammers
18/5/2021 07:38 | I follow both of them very closely, they don't come any shrewder and successful than them, especially uncle Eric. And let's not forget the "broken slot machine" Ross Beaty still holds all his shares. Is it a real dawn eventually? Thank you Mr. Phelps for choosing this crowd for our little troubled company that at last looks to having a bright future.. | panagos
18/5/2021 06:31 | Good to see Canadian big hitters in this placement. Eric Sprott. Michael Gentile. | mineng
17/5/2021 22:24 | A little context: Every chance that panagos is right, imho. | doobydave
17/5/2021 14:46 | i can see gap up to 37p being filled this/next week.Gold price in US$ crossed the 200dma to the upside today. | panagos
17/5/2021 12:54 | --->NOBBYGNOME I seem to have missed the earlier action. I am not an avid screen watcher. Not really interested in trading these as I believe they now have a long way to go once the money is in place to start extracting the gold stuff from the ground. But nevertheless, I think the buying may have been as a result of the POG having one of its biggest weekly moves in a few months last week. If it has flushed out a few stale bulls to sell some stock as a result, then so be it. More fool they. Regards, THE COUNT! | the count
17/5/2021 12:42 | And the answer is sadly no.... | nobbygnome
17/5/2021 12:36 | A flurry of buys and the price is now at a recent high. Will it hold.... | nobbygnome
13/5/2021 13:15 | Given general weakness recently in the wider market, this is holding up very well indeed. Continued strength is likely from here given recent developments which put the Co. in a different position to what it was previously - of course, it has led to price appreciation, but notwithstanding that, not yet adequately re-rated. I hold. | yasx
13/5/2021 12:21 | A plethora of small buys continue. They are small probably because it is impossible to buy any size at a decent price! | nobbygnome
12/5/2021 13:18 | --->ALL All goes to show how criminally undervalued the market made the stock in the first place, despite the valuable real asset in the ground. That in turn made the placing an absolute steal for the opportunists out there with money to invest. That too is absolutely criminal, but the company can't be blamed directly for the way the market valued the company. In the end, it was just a fight for survival, and the vultures will now walk away with the cream. But a long way to go no matter what gyrations we get in the short term. Regards, THE COUNT! | the count
12/5/2021 13:14 | feels strange of GAL giving some of my money back... I almost feel guilty :) | panagos
12/5/2021 13:12 | any trade @30.5 will flash on 52 week high trading monitors.. | panagos
12/5/2021 13:06 | Only 1k offered at 31p now. Why don't they move the price up..... | nobbygnome
12/5/2021 13:03 | I got the first 10k at 31p and someone else has now taken 29k! So over 50k bought at 31p which is the majority of today's volume. | nobbygnome
12/5/2021 13:01 | --->ALL I just took out the 10k @ 31p. Compared to the placing price, I am paying well over the odds, but compare with what is in the ground about to be dug up, this could easily climb to a quid or 2. Time to invest for the longer term again. Regards, THE COUNT! | the count
12/5/2021 12:44 | --->NOBBYGNOME Just got an RSP check. Currently (with the touch price at 29p - 31p), MMs are bidding for 50k @ 29.8p, and 25k @ 29.1p. On the offer for us to buy, we have a paltry 10k @ 31p, 10.5k @ 31.15, 10k @ 34.96p and finally, for any real size, we have 50k offered at 36p which is a whopping 5p above the current touch. I think we can comfortably say that the MMs have been caught with their pants down. Of course that can all change with a few largeish sales, but I am not letting mine go any time soon. Suffered too many years for that to happen. Regards, THE COUNT! | the count
12/5/2021 12:28 | Now you have to pay the full 31p after it moved up again. | nobbygnome
12/5/2021 12:12 | Virtually nothing offered on line. Hmmm could be about to go up sharply.... | nobbygnome
12/5/2021 11:33 | --->ALL And we finally have more movement. But it has merely moved up to the real price that it has been to buy even 10k shares for the last few days. It has been around 30p to buy even 10k shares even when the touch price was showing 28p. I know because I tried to buy another 10k for myself. I woud have wanted more but I know that with no liquidity it would have bneen impossible. Regards, THE COUNT! | the count |
