Write this stock off. This is in a severe downtrend.

Almost £2bn of t/o comes from government contracts and many are up for renewal in the coming months. Refusing to cooperate doesn't seem like the smartest move as the SFO will take months to probe this. Even at current prices this is looking like a short.

Serco & G4S found to have charged govt for electronic tagging of people actually in prison, abroad or even, in a few cases, dead.

Serco has apologised and is co-operating with audit into electronic tagging mischarging. G4S refusing to allow audit incl internal emails

Tagging firm's 'overcharging' probed

Justice Secretary Chris Grayling has asked the Serious Fraud Office to investigate G4S for overcharging for tagging of criminals.

Serco has separately voluntarily agreed to take part in a "forensic audit" of what happened. G4S was given the same opportunity to co-operate with the government investigation, but refused.

There will also be a wider review of all contracts held by G4S and Serco across Government.

This share has recently been repeatedly recommended as a buy, with large purchases by Gates etc but it is still going down. Am thinking of buying when starts to recover but worried about failure of all the good news (except of course recent bad publicity) to stop the downward march of the share price Thoughts very welcome.

The CEO being an ex beancounter and the huge amount of debt the co is carrying I think a rights issue is almost certainly nailed on - probably sooner rather than later if they want to get it away at a half decent price.

Black Rock seem to buy and sell it often. Trading it or something else ??? The profit took a bit of a hit with last years debacle but it should return which would take the edge off of the 70 debt ratio I would have thought.

Does not look pretty to me. Does anybody have any idea of the short positions against GFS ?
