Have to say that I am surprised by the size of the drop.
I guess the problem at the moment is that the market in general is so high that any disappointment brings harsh punishment.

Aye Chupacabra, I regretted not buying back in when it started rising in January, back to that level now but have no funds to buy.

Weekly chart below, there aeems to be a support/resistance level here around the 50 week MA. Wave 5 of III complete??

Disappointing reaction to the IMS, I read it earlier and thought "That looks OK" - just shows how little I know.

EDIT - this is the only negative point as far as I can see

"The group operating margin was around 0.6% lower compared to the same period in 2012"

does that justify 12% off the SP?

G4S was down 1.9 per cent to 307p after Merrill Lynch advised selling.

Merrill highlighted a warning from US peer Securitas that US healthcare reform may push up the cost of employing guards by between 12 and 16 per cent, which would translate to a £40m hit to G4S's earnings. The renewal of a prisoner tagging contract in June or July also put at risk G4S's £20m of earnings, generated on £60m in sales, with the downside not reflected in consensus expectations, the broker said.

Can the fall in G4S price really be attributed to CFO leaving? The guys been with the company for nearly 2 decades. Alpesh Patel @ One Free Share Tip, gives G4S thumbs up:"G4S may seem like a safe bet. But in fact not only has there been recent price momentum looking like the stock will break through momentum but on my VGI measure of value growth and dividend income the company scores highly on all three; earnings growth, revenue growth, dividend income. Having returned from India, not a day goes by where I do not see at least 30 G4S staff. Global demand remains strong and the company, despite sometimes biting off more than it can chew, is actually perfecting winning governmental, commercial contracts. I like it for the rest of 2013."
