Beware of FTSE which suddenly has wider spread of 6 after 5.30.

Recently found that HBOS has fairly consistent spread.
Been a relentless riser though.

But AVZ and WMPY and NRK have STUNG me with VERY callous spread happening ON TOP OF a nasty spike.

Beauty of DAX is constant spread of 2 (but horrendously wild)

Hi Rigger.
We did have a few users of Cap Spreads... I can't stop thinking ....
have they given up, made a million, or changed company.

Hi Ben,
Not been with caps for long,on the whole they seem to be fair.Agree with you on stops. Always have to remind my self to take the money off the table on short term trades.

To be fair they sometimes will reinstate a position if it was a VERY sharp spike

with excessive spread.

Anyone using Caps ? please say summat !!

The worst thing about these stops is that some shares will suddenly widen the spread at crucial times, and it hits your stop -> big loss

So very often the stop does NOT protect you, but the reverse.

Do you feel permanently bothered... in case the market is going for those
compulsory stops ?

For you, are they an asset ? or a pain ?

Hello there, CAPITAL SPREADS users.....

Each s/b company has its own snags and advantages.

Instead of suffering alone, we can all benefit from sharing our solutions to software bugs etc.

AND.... ideas on how to cope with our compulsory stops...
