Nice news on the oil, at $68 dollars a barrel if all 3 wells can produce 1000bopd between them that's $25m pa, easily enough to justify a share price of 1p+

The oil is our hedge against the gas play.

The RNS 28 NOV was very clear. Gas has been flowed from ud2 and the gas was thoroughly tested and deemed to be of commercial quality.

The share price is exactly where is because of all known information to the market. Whatever we say or don't say has no bearing on this Log.

Maybe so but you won't engender any credibility if you just make stuff up.

Why not just post they are flowing 20mmscfd from UD2, the pipeline is laid and the company has received payments for their gas. While you are at it BP have offered them $2bn for the company but they are waiting to hear from Shell and Total first.

No commercial flow rates are in any RNS. You can keep shouting but it won't make it true.

@thefozzer it says flowed gas which was flared. It doesn't say in commercial quantities. Could be 0.01scuffs for all we know.

Clearly it hasn't cleaned up and flowed or we'd know by now.

The company has never said that the well is commercial, that's why they are testing to find out.

It's all good log, If you're short the wait is nearly over to see if you'll make a few quid.

However...there's a reason for certain political entities were slowing down our previous progress on gas operations.

I'd say there's a very good chance of success here.

A well takes as long as it takes...ud2 has flowed commercial quality gas

After perforation and small-scale mechanical stimulation of a 20m thick interval of the Miocene-aged Gareji reservoir, situated between 2600m - 2620m, the well started to flow natural gas, which has been flared during cleanup.

State Oil and Gas Service Company has performed analysis of the flowed natural gas. Chemical composition is shown below:

Methane - 90.4%

Ethane - 4.15%

Propane - 1.4%

Nitrogen - 3.1%

Others - 0.95

Lower Calorific value - 8818 kcal/m3 (State standard: not less than 7600 kcal/m3)

Higher Calorific value - 9763 kcal/m3

The natural gas quality satisfies all requirements of the applicable GOST standard and corresponds to the applicable regulations of the State Standard 5542-87, which makes it acceptable for distribution through Georgia's natural gas grid.

@thefozzer -- it takes 3 months to test a 500K work over and get results signed off? You are having a laugh.

Also there was no RNS on 28Nov saying commercial quantities of gas has flowed. You are a liar? Post the RNS then.

Here is the RNS

"As expected, we have drilling debris and fluids (hematite) still coming out of the formation and perforations, and once the well cleanup is completed and we are in a position to accurately measure gas flow rates, we look forward to updating market in due course."

Where does it say commercial quantities have flowed? It doesn't give a flow rate.

News needs to get signed off and information authorised no rules being broke.

News on the gas this week imo. Could be good could be bad.

Remember from the NOV 28 RNS...commercial quality gas has already flowed from the first zone.

We'll get news either way before the shareholder meeting.

I doubt it! You'll get more ambiguity. Some say he wouldn't call meeting if he didn't have good news to share. That's so naive. Zaza doesn't give a toss about a few angry shareholders. They'll be enough worshipers there to silence any dissent anyway. He'll have a plausible excuse for no commercial flow rate don't you worry.

@thefozzer AIM regulations say that price sensitive news must be released to the market promptly via an RNS. He's breaking these rules now if he has UD2 flow results and is keeping them for a meeting on the 25th.
