Wand? I'll give even the most ardent shorters on here a tip, go long on Wandisco. In my interest as I have shares but worth buying into something rather than shorting and being negative.

Bumpa FRR doesn't release bad news. If they can't release good news they just say nothing. Quite incredible that they get away with it but they do.

Last time they tested UD2 it obviously didn't go well so they just went all shy and quiet about it.

Dalem I don't think for one moment Zaza or Nicandros have put their own money at risk. To date the debt for equity at 1p was in my opinion highly misleading. Most of the debt had accrued at very high interest rates and came about from salaries deferred by the directors. I'd be amazed if they had put in as much as 10c on the dollar of real money.

The recent placings were also in my opinion not transparent. Directors put in 500k of cash at under 0.1p then weeks later 1m at 0.58p to support a placement aimed solely at private investors.

Their average price therefore is much lower over the two transactions.

Further I'd be amazed if their cash is ever at risk in the same way as the private investors who put cash in via primary bid. There are many ways for them to take the money back out anyway. Over the past 12 years the company has received over 400m in investment you can be sure Zaza and Nicandros have done OK out of it.

Dalem2uk - there is always a chance they could finally do what they have been saying they would do these last 12 years, you can never rule something out entirely, i just think it highly unlikely as i believe, and have for a long time, that this is not far removed from an out and out scam.

Thanks, it's good to have balanced posts to question your own assumptions. It is true that we were told we could receive $3M a month in gas revenue at the end of 2016 until the equipment was delayed into early 2017 and then they stopped working on the gas to focus on the joint venture which hasn't yet materialised. I think the hope is that there were political reasons in the background causing it as opposed to the potential assets not actually being there. No one really knows until we start getting results from the tests and the low trading volumes certainly don't seem to indicate news either positive or negative, just drifting on uncertainty and the monthly YA dealing.

you could make a case for the above post, IF the company weren't sitting here with a ludicrous £75m mkt cap and IF history hadn't shown the company to be at best, wildly over optimistic in it's claims, or at worst outright liars.

at £15m mkt cap you might be able to justify a wild punt, at £75m though it's crazy and arguably the most over valued 'punt' on the market.

My thoughts on this are that Zara and Steve own a significant holding ofcompany's shares and although some of these are locked in (until April?) there wasn't anything stopping them from selling some of their other holdings in he recent spike up to 0.8+ and there wasn't anything forcing them to exchange debts at 1p a share when the share price was a fraction of this. Therefore I think and hope they believe in the work being carried out should lead to a positive impact on the share price but as with most shares on AIM nothing is guaranteed. Like many have said, this is not an easy share to hold at times, but my philosophy is that the potential value of success is worth the risk of the investment at this price and there are a number of opportunities for value creation as opposed to other investments where there is a single drill taking place. It is disappointing that the potential joint venture that was mentioned a year ago for likely fruition in Q4 2017 hasn't yet been realised and very little information has been provided about what this really could mean for the company. We just have to see what the next few months bring but it's an interesting story as long as you are not solely reliant on its success. Bumpa to keep you going here is a ramp from early Nov where he said results from UD2 were 2 weeks away and Taribani was about to spud.

A couple of broken promises in a couple of minutes.

Mick I know that's what the LSE bulls feed you but where is the evidence. Think about what you are saying. You are basically saying that the Georgian MoE were stopping the sale of 5.8TCF if gas where they owned half plus any taxes on profits thereof.

If you can provide me with some links to support this statement I'd be very grateful.

I don't think UD2 ever had any potential. Why leave 5.8 TCF sitting there for years when all it needed was 500k workover.

The bulls argue because there was no market for the gas but that makes no sense.

FRR debt costs 4M a year. The work over would cost about a months interest.

joking aside, 3 months on and clearly there are problems with Ud2 as no mickey mouse work over takes this amount of time to 'clean up'.

Any proper oiler would tell the market what is going on, but oh no, not FRR

Still no update from FRR. I guess there is nothing good to put out so they say nothing. FRR hasn't changed one bit.
