Fair point log, back into the 0.6s now though so time to open your shorts?

I was tempted to sell 2m for £12,200 and if no ud-2 news before Thurdsay I'll be able to buy them back a lot lower. Am not good at trading though so I hope my faith in Zaza is justified. Porbably won't be!

Frankly I am amazed that this board is so quiet considering what's about to happen here. Blowing up the picture of the Ud2 rig you can clearly see the Christmas tree fitted , which is of course only used for production testing, and you can see the red pipe coming off it towards the flare pit which hadn't been excavated when I was at the well site.

Now one thing I would mention is that FRR share the same broker as VRS (which has been exceptionally good to me over the last year). Like Zaza, the CEO of VRS is closely aligned with his investors with a massive shareholding , and it has not escaped my attention that he uses his twitter account to drop subtle hints to his investors when good news is coming. I have taken the hint and benefitted from this on several occasions, and I wonder if the broker and PR team at YJ suggested to Zaza that it would now be timely to drop the hint here? I have added two more tranches yesterday and today on the basis that they are now pursuing the same strategy.

I mentioned last week that Zaza is possibly playing a blinder here as to timing, and am now more convinced than ever that that is the case. Let's face it who would want to sell post Ud2 news when we have the prospect of follow on news from T45 in pretty short order, not to mention the possibility of a JV being announced for the MK gas field in the interim? The London gatherings will no doubt provide additional assurance as to the company's plans and the implications of Ud2 results for a revised CPR.

I know that YJ are an FPR consultancy and will advise their client they need to release an RNS in order for the meeting to have substance and for Zaza to be well received. You haven't attended the meetings but Zaza has been on the end of a fair amount of stick and will be in for a rough ride if no RNS comes to light. Any RNS will be signed off by the NOMAD, Cairn.

@tickboo don't be daft. Yellow Jersey are a PR agency. You do know what that means don't you? They don't challenge the company their sole purpose is to distribute the message they don't care if the message is true.

The NOMAD may be asking questions but to date they've not been at all tough on FRR and let FRR do what they want.

Yellow Jersey must be impressing upon Zaza the importance of a meaningful RNS and not cloak and daggers. Time will tell.

Which Monday did you mean? FRR bulls re-invented the day Christmas falls on so I assume you might mean Monday October the 5th 2020?

I think they'll be an RNS nearer the meeting date so Wednesday or Thursday. Hopefully it will drop on Monday to put us out of our misery but I doubt it.

I hate to find myself ramping like a bull but what about the oil? What if Zaza comes out with some credible excuse eg flow rates were poor but only cos the well is old and screwed up by the Ruskies? A new well will be much better scheduled for a tear 18months from now.

You see there are just so many ways to spin it.

Difference is loglorry he has dug himself too deep a hole to worm his way out of, he may have got away with it in the past spinning investors lines but he is clutching at straws now, it's make or break for him! either this gas flows at a good rate and we find out before or on the 25th, or the all singing all dancing mr Zaza will be licking his wounds when this share price crashes, and IMO will not recover! GL lads
